when cha seonchaek and prince gyeongseong got together i just rolled my eyes the entire time idm corny but this was a whole other level not to mention how she became so boring after they got together 💔additionally that weird ass plot twist with eunae being an opp was so forced.. the entire show she was a sweetheart and she even had her own ship going on.
this is a problem with a lot of manhwa turned kdramas - you can’t just make a 12 episode drama based on 100 chapters that’s why the mood of the show felt like it changed so dramatically because they were trying to fit everything in.. this is what i’m scared of when the remarried empress comes out coz it only has 10 episodes 🙁🙁

the amnesia arc lasted wayyy too long and everything after that was mid too

they nerfed bogums character in this so bad

2025 has been a disappointing year for kdramas tbh but this one is too good ALL I CAN ASK IS THAT IT DOESNT TAKE A NOSEDIVE LATER.. anyways i love them and ive been craving a cute highschool romance for a while - lowkey sick of those action/gang ones (no shade ^^)

this drama is lowkey so fun it doesn’t take itself seriously and it reminds me of classic romcoms

i got to mid episode 4 and i’m REALLYYY not into it i was tryna get through it for park bogum but honestly his character here is so mid i think this drama just falls flat ok every aspect - the romance, comedy and the action. i’m gonna try my hardest to get through these episodes and if it doesn’t get any better i’m gonna ditch it.

i so far really like this but i do see this disappointing me later on i really dont want a heartbeat pt2 😭😭

the double didn’t really have that much romance either but they still executed it so much better and the actual revenge plot was a lot more entertaining (+ ml could actually act) whereas with the glory i had to force watch the last 8 episodes on 2x

yeah this one was way too overhyped honestly how dare someone say this was better than the double.. did we watch the same show? the male lead had one expression the ENTIRE show.. chen duling was a lot better but regardless i found the main plot to be draggy and there wasn’t much romance to atleast keep me entertained

i’m on episode 9 and tbh i can’t put my finger on it but i don’t like the show like this is a recipe for such an entertaining show yet i’m still here disappointed i’ll finish the drama and see if my opinions change!!

i love love love this drama so far i only hope that it doesnt disappoint in the later eps.. gwanshik is genuinely the most cutest guy everrrr this reignited my love for park bogum frr
