But I think the writer intentionally left those out since mainly the story was about their youth and the time in Ssangmundong. As for them in their 40's I think all of them lead their own lives and might have not been that close anymore, apart from Bora, Sun Woo, No Eul but that's just my interpretation + I think the writer left room for viewers own interpretation here.
The end is very bitterweet, but I still think that it's one of the most well done drama endings ever.

Deok Sun ends up with Taek, Bora with Sun Woo, Maggie with Jungbong. The "love triangle", if there really is one?.. it's between Taek, Deok Sun & Junghwan. And no serious fights with the main characters; one of the reasons that makes this drama the best there is.

Agree. JY & HY just isn't it in the romantic sense, but I love the friendship! HO and EH will get their HE, that's just given. JY will let go of HR eventually, I'm honestly a lil disappointed that he didn't understand EH when she tried to explain. It's true he's hurt, but EH is the one hurting the most so he was being too hard on her, just like he was in the 2nd episode towards HR. I hope all of them heal eventually and JY finds another HR someday, and by this I mean someone who treats him the same way and makes him smile.

Yep, I'd rather have her choosing herself (really) and self love than ml, but it seems that it's just not possible for her character. She can't let go of him even if he destroys her, over and over again. Something I just cannot comprehend, even after 7 episodes, but it seems to be so.

I'm pretty sure that this drama has already been filmed, so no matter what the audience thinks, it won't make any difference to the writers endgame. The actors have great chemistry (SHS x KH), which is why many are so in love with them, but this is a kdrama and sml doesn't have a chance because the fl's feelings are towards ml from the get go, she keeps pining after him no matter what, why would that change at this point, considering how many years she has done that & 5 eps left??¿.. +Hyeri is just alter ego, meant to disappear eventually so the one left hurt will be the sml and a lot of viewers, that's why it's better stop clinging onto the blind hope about fl/sml at this point.
