didn't know it'll be on netflix and so happy it is. seeing Kang Dong Won in a comedy settings is sooo weird ๐๐ the chaotic team it already is and we have Oh Jung Se as the cherry on top to further break it down, Park Ji Hyun slaying it as usual, 10/10 popcorn watch!
As i started because of Park Ji Hyun, Seo In Guk & Kang Mi Na. I'm very happy how the drama ends, the soundtrack was one of my favorite in kdrama of all time, it was played during their first kiss too! truly ambience-building soundtrack, so perfect.
Not a frequent watcher of romance genre unless it has a unique plus, but i watch this due to actors favoritism, and gotta say story and character wise its so vanilla (bland) that i can't like/hate a character due to how things are flat and just waived off in the next 5 minutes for a safe ending's sake ๐
Nevertheless, this was such a fun after-work monday & tuesday watch, definitely worth it if you're fan of the actors!!๐๐
Just caught up and can't remember the last time Ji Sung played in a goofy kdrama ๐the whole fake family setup and each character really adds interesting and funny layer to the comedy elements
gotta say my expectations were too high, i was hoping Park Hae Kang and gang as ruthless/all-doer character type after that episode 1 intro, but the direction rather grounded and comedic to the core - which fits well to the story!
i hope we'll get to see more depth in story and characters as Chung Won has revealed himself as the mastermind, cant wait for more episodes!
He'll get the SBS daesang for sure. As for the baeksang, he might win the Daesang too, but we'll have to wait…
agree on that, he might get daesangs for the significant impact and popularity. best actors might be hard to contend as we're just halfway through 2026 and a lot of senior/well-known actors returning as leads
I think his performance was definitely solid for the character, but not sold if it can reach a nomination/awards, if anything the kdrama itself might win one
I'm glad they wrap it up as a limited series format, it doesn't yield for bad ending or sequel milking, just a neat open-ending
One thing kind of regrettable is a lot of controversy and hate due to the nature of the story; be it unrealistic actions, immoral individuals, stretched story or whatever. In the end, it's just underworld individuals of interests chasing each other carefully, and Kim's finally got reactivated. The villains fate literally got speedrun'd as they're just cockroaches for Kim ๐
That ending tho ๐ฎโ๐จ can't wait for more seasons to come!!
its almost confirmed given the vast source material (200+ chapter manhwa) and great rating, plus that ending is direct nod to an important character, cant wait!
whoah whoah i was enjoying the drama so much why is this comment section full of hate?
majority of viewers are coming from k-drama lens, it can't be applied to manhwa logic. everyone loves the "dad goes on revenge for his daughter" story but not for agent kim's deeper worldbuilding and its hard to beg a differ in the argument without getting the hate
most expects a happy ending and closure next episode, while this season could be 1 out of many to come, i hope next season adaptations won't be affected and still get the greenlight
wait Ju gang chan is wanting "the best" for his child? on what grounds ? on terroristic grounds ? Are…
i mean he's a villain, all he does is obviously bad (or you say terroristic) lol, at first he's using "protecting his daughter" to reason hunting down kim, then its just self-justification to protect his ego, thats what i meant, he had no problem with kim before, he doesn't even care who kim is during the first parent meeting
i'm just taking perspective from manhwa worldbuilding, there will be a lot of worse characters than him waiting in future episodes
So apologies for my rant but Iโm kinda pissed. First of all I have huge respect for So Ji Sub that heโs confident…
well the manhwa is about agent kim's return to the spy world and still ongoing for 200+ chapter, Min Ji is just the starting arc for more serious and deeper worldbuilding to come
if anything, its expected to have atleast 10 season for full adaptation
Seeing Gang Chan and his right-hand completely plummets is sooo satisfying ๐
The serious plot is starting now, i personally like that the lore goes deeper, but the "spy dad rescuing her daughter" hype persona is going to wear off real quick, i hope the rating and perception will still be as high for upcoming seasons continuation
So let me get this straight, Kang Guk Cheol and his crew can't even win against Gang Chan's right-hand man, and…
the mole cricket is just not him and a comedic plot device๐คฃ if anything, he's just someone doing his job and shares the same mud & blood with the trio
And I'm so disappointed in this sk organization! Like wdym u want to use Minji as a hostage to get her dad??
entertainment secret agency 101, they'd narrate entire government overthrow so some shady CIA director can fulfill their goal, kidnapping a top 1 north korea fugitive's daughter as bait is the least violent possible

no if want story and character depth

I was waiting for Kim vs Gang Chan/the head security guy, i guess that's reserved for season finale T_T
try ragebait So Ji-Sub again and find out 5 minutes later if you'll still have all your 5 senses
THE DOPAMINE SURGE IS SO REAL
