I am half way ep 6 and omg inam super invested. Already thinking what I will do after I finish this....the cases are super interesting and different, heart touching, as well as depressing....

Just started this and I am enjoying so far . On ep 2 and Love how the ML is truly positive about everything and even if he doesn't like something, he tries to find a way out of it instead of just getting angry 😂

OK LOVED IT !First time watching seo kang jun in a somewhat comedy role and I must say every actor did justice and every character was fun to watch. I didn't skip anything. The NIS team were hilarious, the students were funny, even the evil woman was great, totally convinced me that she was a psycho. Truly enjoyed this one . The reactions were pretty realistic for every situation. And I loved the fact that they didn't add extra romance forcefully. The amount of romance was enough and perfect. And maybe it's just me, but I liked the fact that ML and FL had their own responsibilities and weren't totally dependent on each other.

Ok I am 10 episodes in, and I can say it's probably one of the best cdramas, it's funny but not in a cringey way, heart touching at times and very interesting so far.

I love that his dramas never have those intense kiss scenes but end up being the most romantic regardless

I am not a blind follower of him. I read that the bullying was not what it was depicted as that is why I commented what I had commented.
Now I don't know which source is correct and which is not.
There was an interview where he was talking about all of it openly and then the article said he wasn't "violent" and all.
And I know translations are weird , but koreans were saying he wasn't bad. So idk details. I only saw it 6 months ago. I haven't really followed his scandal or his news much since it all happened

Have you watched or read regarding the kings and timeline featured in " bossam" and "rebel:thief who stole people" and "tale of nokdu"? They have connected series too. Same characters and different perspectives

So like it's about one of the most famous kings of Joseon, King Yeongjo, it starts from him being born and it shows his prince journey mostly to a king. And also about his father. You can pretty much understand the storyline . It's based history but they have given it some creative touch and added more story.
So like in history originally, before prince yeoning was born, his mother, the queen had a still born. In this series, they show that it wasn't a still born but the queen had secretly hidden the child for safety, and hence the story basically proceeds with these two characters.

Oh glad I found someone with similar interests. Have you watched "living by love: jang ok jeong", it's like story of Yeonjo's father. It's a twist of fiction on the real events, so you will see same characters from "royal gambler" but in a different light. It was so interesting to see the story from a different perspective. And how as history is unknown to the fullest, some positive characters might have been villains haha.
