Haven't watched it yet (just ep 1) but from the ending spoilers that I have read, I think I liked "show window couple" more. The ending there seemed more satisfying
I tried watching and after 4 episodes , dropped it and I agree with the low ratings. IDC of it gets better in future episodes, I can't sit through it when the start was bad. I just checked out whom she ends up with & that is probably the only good thing that happened in the drama lol
So many k-dramas on King Yeongjo & his father ..... And I am falling in to the rabbit hole with every one of them. I'll give it a try after completing Haechi. I liked "the royal gambler"
I wanted to watch this because of yeoseob but WHY IS jung joonyoung that THE TRASHY PIECE OF SHIT in the same episode? I cannot watch 2 days and 1 night s3 because of the same reason despite loving yoon shi yoon
It's not mind-blowing but it's still a good watch. I guess except Geun Seuk's , all others are grey characters.
I would say watch this, then LIVING BY LOVE - JANG OK JEONG and then HAECHI . It will help you understand the characters better and you can see how each show portrayed them despite being the same people in the history.
I mean skip just 30 secs. The character eats live snake (bcoz he is starving) . But like just a warning. Not everyone will have the same reaction as mentioned lol.
I know it's a sensitive topic as it's based on real happenings, but the main characters are designed in the stupidest way possible , i.e. The police, the journalist and the professor. The ending scene probably raised my rating from a 4 to 7
If you enjoyed the political tension more than the romance in CRASH LANDING ON YOU (just like me), this is a must watch !!! I totally enjoyed it. And the bromance is so heartwarming.

I am not crazy about bl ships and neither do I stan Namtan but I don't think she is over hyped. She has a relatively long career as compared to the other names you have mentioned above, hence her popularity. And as the person above have already said, it's fine to not like her. No need to say she is not as good as xxxxx person.
She is one of the most beautiful/ pretty thai actress out of all that I have seen. And she act well too, her antagonist characters are mind-blowing. And she is hilarious on variety shows .
The fact that what they have shown at the end could have been true just blows my mind. No one can know the truth. But they did Consort Suk very dirty here lol. The way she behaved, I cannot see the possibility of the future king Yeongjo being even having the chance to be born 😂
I am half way through, and either Kim tae Hee is a very great actress, with her expressions showing an innocent smile and sadness but in a cunning way......or she is a very bad actress in showcasing her innocence, because I don't feel bad for her at all, no matter how much sad things happen to her 😂 (even before she gains power) And her manipulative acting doesn't give that bad b*tch vibes but you will come to hate her regardless.....so in a way she did succeed with the character!
Also, the hairpins they use in for the queen & jang ok jeong are super pretty!!! Even the costume ! Better than any newer JOSEON based dramas.
If you know the history, then ep 10 onwards is where you start seeing glimpses of Jang ok-jung. The king is portrayed quite similar to what I have read, a grey character.
Also why do they cough blood before dying in any historical drama ? They get flu or small pox or fever or diabetes or food poison......all of them cough blood as a dying symptom .

I meant that word to be like - as a kdrama fan, people will be missing out if they don't watch it. And yeah 2-3 episodes could have been shortened ( for romance stuff) but personally I loved seeing how they tried to insert the actual real historical occurrence in to the story and it happens from the 2nd half, when the king takes the power.
Dropped it after ep 8, so someone please, you can spoil who is/are the main culprits . It was interesting for first 4-5 episodes & then idk ..... The acting sucks. The character whose acting I liked gets murdered. And the ML acting & behaviour doesn't match his profession at all . Yuri's character (not her) is exactly how I dislike any FL of a drama to be , being a know-it-all & trying to protect others even though she cannot fight back if someone throws water at her

There are person dying here and there and he is just showing off his body & kissing his girlfriend and openly displaying important evidence , which is definitely not like someone in an intelligence service lol
