for those criticizing the use of glass cups and other modern elements in this drama, it's important to remember that the setting might not be too far removed from the period of westernization. the influence of western culture started gradually, and some isolated communities could have had access to these items through trade or interactions- just like yeongcheoru. it doesn't hurt to use our brain cells once in a while.
how i know this drama isn't boring is because i stayed up late (till 2) on a sunday night watching it. normally, whenever i try to watch dramas on sunday nights, i get so sleepy no matter how good the drama is. but i completed ep 1, and its duration was 1 hour and 10 minutes!!!
jung gunjoo looks so goodd arghrqwwyegevge!! i can't wait for him to bring more chaos and i hope he's nothing but a hot goof who isn't goofy enough to fall for fl😔.
btw it feels so weird seeing bae inhyuk running around and being "healthy" considering the fact that he has only ever been a sickling in his historical dramas😭 I was scared he was gonna faint from all those running around he did in the 1st episode.
this drama....is AMAZINGGG. wdym ep 5 threw you off?😭 it's literally the best episode of the drama so far. idk something about that plot twist makes the drama even better. cuz i imagined that guy being so many things but not THAT😭
the only thing i can't stand about these dramas is the fact that after they transform they keep acting weird around…
adjusting to such a drastic transformation, especially for someone who was old and has lived with that identity for years, would naturally take time. the awkwardness or hesitation they show is more realistic than instantly adapting. it’s a process, and people shouldn’t dismiss it as “making a fool of themselves.” i think it adds depth to the character.
they do but its going to weird when she turns back. like why can't they just make them a good duo? must romance be involved in every drama? and what's even the point of making them catch feelings when they're likely to not explore it?
when i asked if they were in their dating era this was not what i had in mind. they wasted so much time doing nothing and just making hate each other, they didn't even build their relationship as adults properly. and it's such a waste cus the cinematography and aesthetic of the drama is really good. i ended up skipping through the episodes. ugh
i can't wait for him to bring more chaos and i hope he's nothing but a hot goof who isn't goofy enough to fall for fl😔.
