i know it's not a romcom, im talking about the visuals. it's not fitting for a thriller-crime, even though it's not typical. it looks too polished for me like they tend to make romcoms

i just saw the trailer and the visuals are way too smooth and polished for a thriller crime drama 😭 it looks more like a romcom than something dark or intense. no matter how good the acting might be, i just can’t unsee that vibe.

idk about religion, but the cgi is sososo good. sadly, that’s the only good thing. the acting is over the top, and in the first ep she literally looks like she’s just imitating wednesday 😭 how do you mess up every element but cgi??

gosh. romance was the one good thing and they had the opportunity to build it well. this is why i don't like the ex-lovers to lovers trope. they make it look unnecessary sometimes when it shouldnt be. guess i'll have to wait for the all episodes to be out

it’s fine to have preferences, but you also have to admit your preference can be “wrong” in context. why are you expecting a 9-episode drama to be drowning in angst? it’s already a slow burn—5 whole episodes just to get them to realize their feelings, and only 4 left. if they stretch angst all the way to the finale, that’s not slow burn anymore, that’s just dragging it out.

and since you posted this in a public forum, of course people are gonna criticize or disagree. that’s just how it works.
