If it's just a scanner then more so reason that he could make a note and just like I said, he could write it on a piece of paper that he was compromised, if not write it in front of him because of the pendant then on his side which serves as a blindspot where it can't be seen by the pendant. There are other ways like writing it on Jian's table in the headquarters while on his back and not being seen by the pendant.

LGH wants Jinsu to report to her as his superior if he finds anything about a case. But she hates him and doesn't want to answer his calls. How the fuck is he supposed to get along with a superior like that?

Watching Season 1, Episode 5. Superiors in the department are getting cranky at Jinsu for letting the culprit stab himself. First off, if they didn't leave him out of the case solving duty when it comes to the painting case then maybe he shared what he found out about the culprit. LGH shouldn't blame Jinsu since he's just a rookie and it's the culprit who attacked Jinsu and tried to kill himself.

Enjoying this series. Fun to watch. I'm on episode 4 now.

I'm not saying being raised by Buddhist monks automatically makes him Buddhist. My point is about where his specialized knowledge comes from. Simply entering the World of Gwi and fighting spirits doesn't automatically teach someone the terminology, classifications, causes, or methods for dealing with different spirits. The spirits aren't exactly stopping to introduce themselves and explain what kind of entity they are. That kind of knowledge normally has to be learned and passed down somehow. Since Gu-cheon was raised in a Buddhist temple, showing the monks teaching him these esoteric/exorcistic practices would have been a perfectly plausible explanation.
The same applies to his swordsmanship. Fighting for survival in the World of Gwi can explain combat experience, but it doesn't automatically explain how he developed the technical skill to fight a trained palace guard. I'm criticizing the lack of explanation, not claiming that my proposed explanation is the only possible one.

That's exactly my point: the issue isn't that Gu-cheon is incapable of learning these skills. It's that the series never properly establishes HOW he acquired them. We see that Buddhist monks raised him, yet we aren't shown him learning the esoteric/exorcistic practices that explain his supernatural knowledge, nor are we shown how he developed the level of swordsmanship needed to fight a trained palace guard. His experience in the World of Gwi can explain why he has combat experience, but it doesn't fully explain his technical swordsmanship. A few flashbacks showing the monks teaching him these skills would have made his abilities much more believable.

You're assuming that simply surviving in the World of Gwi automatically made Gu-cheon proficient in swordsmanship. That's not established either. Combat experience can explain why he knows how to fight, but it doesn't automatically explain where he learned sword technique or how he became skilled enough to defeat a trained palace guard. I'm not saying the monks necessarily taught him swordsmanship; I'm saying the series could have shown or established where his martial and esoteric skills came from instead of leaving both largely unexplained.

Buddhist monks raised him as a kid after being orphaned so of course, he's Buddhist. If you're assuming he's not a shaman then how come he knows the causes of supernatural happenings in the palace, what kind of spirits were in a particular place and what kind of shamanic cure was needed? He cannot know those if he didn't train in esoteric/tantric Buddhism teachings. You cannot be good in swordsmanship if you didn't train. You're defending plot holes for being a blind fan of the series.

Watching episode 7. The eyes gu cheon got from the dragon spirit looks like sharingan in Naruto.

The palace guard learned his swordsmanship in the royal palace of the mortal world, not in the spiritual realm. Still, it doesn't explain how gu cheon learn swordsmanship and how he can fight so well despite that he's just a Buddhist shaman in the temple most of his life. It would be better if the series showed the Buddhist monks teaching him swordsmanship in the temple during his childhood. That's more plausible on why his swordsmanship is so good.

Watching episode 6. Pasin was kidnapped and shot in his side belly with walkie talkie bug bullet by Babylon members. Instead of complying with the Babylon's demand to save his son, since he cannot talk as there's a bug inside him, why not just simply write it down on a piece of paper, pass and show to Jian the truth and the whole damned story that he's been compromised so they could come up with a plan to save his son? But before that he should check if there's a secret bodycam placed in him by Babylon which he eventually found in the toilet on the pendant he's wearing.

Wonder how Gu-cheon was able to beat the ghost of the palace guard since it wasn't shown that he trained swordsmanship as a Buddhist shaman/exorcist?

Watched episode 3. The gwi mae spirit that looks like a tiny teletubby acts like Captain Marvel's cat Goose when sucking spirits.

Watched pilot episode. It’s like Joseon era drama with the concept of Stranger Things' Upside Down but without Vecna and Demogorgon but supernatural spirits from Korean mythology.

Watching episode 9. Why bother rescuing his former North Korean leader? What would the lead gain from that? Everything turns into a joke after Minji got rescued.
