welcome to Korean censoring. They blur murder weapons also. But it is okay, not that big of a deal
not all networks blur the same things, a full body blur is a bit much...reminds me of that other drama I started that had a lot of gangsters, but they blurred every knives, tatoo, even baseball bats I think...it was often hard to see what was even happening.
I love the fact that the romance in this show is so different from the usual k drama fare! Their dynamics are…
I completly agree. I almost never like romance in kdramas, it's usually predictable, full of clichés and really soapy, but this last episode really worked for me. This was JGJ at her weakest moment, but the ml did not come swooping in to save the day as expected, but just came to lend his company and a drink later on. He was asking questions, without being too intrusive, and did not try to offer her some lesson on how to deal with a situation he knows very little about (male leads in kdramas so often have to be founts of wisdom all the time).
Sorry if I ranted a bit, I came here to say that I can totally get behind this romance, and wanted to emphasize how rare that is for me.
The plot is nothing really original and the first hour or so is pretty slow, but the action is really awesome and I don't regret watching this for a moment.
Can someone tell me what's the deal with lotus-root powder balls ? From what I can find online it's pretty edible stuff, so why is it a big deal to eat like 4-5 in the show ? Is it a unique taste that most people hate?
I just rewatched this, and I'm still impressed by how much of a masterpiece this drama is. Everything is pretty much perfect, be it the actors, the writing, the cinematography or the music, everything is just right. I have a hard time completing kdramas, even more so rewatching, but not for My Mister...the story does not get draggy or repetitive, it's not too long (so many shows could lose a few hours...), but it's not too short either (even though I do wish it could have been longer). This is a really powerful drama, that does not fall prey to usual stereotypes, and really showcase the best the industry has to offer.
god, I'm pissed just reading the description! Cyborgs should not be confused with androids! Cyborgs are humans with some mechanical parts, while androids are machines made to look and act like humans.
What surprise me more is the synopsis. What: "section chief with charisma, although she spends most of her time…
Just finished it, god was it good, probably the best in its genre actually. There was basically no down time, and the characters were so great. The only bad thing I have to say is that there is a bit too much product placement for Subway....like...come on!
Am.amazed that this show has a sub-8 rating here .It is far far better than many shows being rated 9 and above..Guess…
What surprise me more is the synopsis. What: "section chief with charisma, although she spends most of her time with petty criminals" ? That has almost nothing to do with her!
What: "She has to pay the debt of her family and often speaks harshly, but inside she has a golden heart."? where did that happen?
What: " righteous elite judge, brilliant in mind, but with a warm heart and he always has a friendly ear for those who are weak." ?
" Both worktogether to solve a case of corruption" .....how so? that makes it seem as if they're a team of reluctant partners that fight corruption for the sake of justice, but it's more nuanced than that.....and I'm still only at episode 4....
reading the synopsis made me think it would be some kind of rom-com...I don't know who wrote that, but it's misleading.

On a different note: why is the cast not listed here? I only see 2 of the support cast.
