RC is extremely good! It keeps getting better each week. Eps. 7 & 8 made me laugh and cry happy tears. The MLs' puppy love made my heart race. Ep 8's ending was worth the wait. Whoa, it was more than what I expected! It would surely make my heart flutter for days! All the characters are doing a wonderful job! Wednesday, please come quickly!
So... self-centred and impulsive?! I mean that's Eunkang right there.
Agreed. Eun Gang did the smart move of going to the dean's office directly. I'm not saying that breaking the chain of command is right, but the situation called for it. Although it was misconduct on her part, that was the most sensible thing to do at that time. The problem was the Training Corps, so how could they go to them to report the problem when they were the problem?
I haven't really watched Police University so I can't compare. So far, I like how light and uncomplicated this…
Oh. Thanks for clarifying. But I have a lot of respect for KD for what he is and all that he does. People who don't know him need to do some research. :)
really disappointing the same ppl who are saying it isn't better than police university r the same people saying…
I haven't really watched Police University so I can't compare. So far, I like how light and uncomplicated this drama is. It seems to me that Daniel is doing okay as a rookie actor. His acting might improve as the story goes, let's wait and see.
I like how natural the acting of all the characters is, especially the eight main ones. Also, I like how normal they behave at home. No over-the-top acting. Their personalities reflect their upbringing. Seung Hyun is raised in a family whose head of household is an authoritarian high-ranking police officer. The family atmosphere is formal, and they talk and move in a constrained manner. This clearly explains the somewhat reserved and placid Seung Hyun.
Eun Gang was raised by parents who juggled full-time work and family. The parenting style is more lenient and indulgent. Hence, the impulsive and defiant yet carefree and warmhearted Eun Gang.
Han Na's mom, being a single parent, seems too busy tending to her own personal issues, so Han Na was forced to fend for herself. She seems to lack attention, nurturance, and guidance.
Kim Tak is an orphan who grew up with his grandmother, who sells tteokbokki in her small shop by the railroad to make ends meet . He is a doting grandson with an optimistic personality.
I don't really know where the story goes from episode 4. So far, this drama is giving me a strong Disney movie vibe. You know, light and entertaining. Something that you can easily rewatch while waiting for the next episodes. I like it that issues are resolved within an episode. It's a youth drama that focuses on the life of the students so, by far, nothing dark and serious (maybe not yet?). For now, it's all about the everyday problems and small wins, like Eun Gang quitting and moving on from her one-sided love, nonchalantly, in a true 20-year-old fashion--quick as a flash hahaha!
