you don’t have to take everything so seriously

i'm so sorry for those who couldn’t appreciate this cute story and their chemistry.

watching this felt refreshing, it gives old school drama vibes, it’s light, silly, cheesy, warm and ridiculous, a girl was literally struck by lightning and now she can charge the battery of someone’s heart, i mean it is obvious that this won’t be your typical deep and heavy drama (don’t know what some of you were expecting to be honest), it wasn't meant to be anything else than a enjoyable romcom and i really really enjoyed it.

I should have known the moment they said the fl was allergic to her own tears

I went into this drama so hopeful because you all are here giving it nines and tens so I thought omg this might be amazing… well it wasn’t, it did not age well at all.

The chemistry between the main couple was there, pretty much what saved the drama most of the times but they weren’t super great either. The ml was a bully at first (then he grow up on me okay) and the fl was shown as this naive, weak woman that needed to be protected… I just can't. Even after spending 2 years together he was still trying to impose his opinion on her and in general they acted like children. They were goofy and cute to watch at the beginning but that’s mostly it.

The second couple was unwatchable (literally skipped all their scenes) and the dating app plot it was not it for me, then this du lei guy… gosh you watch him develop as a character throughout the episodes just for the writers to ruin everything in the last 4. At that point literally everything in the drama was making me mad, it should have ended when 2 years passed because there was nothing (good) to see.

I don’t know it was so underwhelming, it had like 7 episodes that were really good and the cute scenes were super cute but the rest was hard to watch…

not what I was expecting

Their chemistry was insane basically what saved the drama for me but some things felt too repetitive, the first 10 eps felt like watching the same thing over and over: they fight, she avoids him, he’s angry then they would get along for a few minutes and everything would start all over again. I get they were only 18 at the time but some things could have been resolved just by having a simple conversation.

Personally, I think it took too much time to get to the present and I didn’t like his attitude towards her at the begging or scenes like when they confess their love again and she was literally drunk, made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Overall it was an okay watch but not as great as everyone was claiming and that was definitely a me problem because I had a lot of expectations on this😞 I get why people would love it tho.
