Overall: 9.5/10

Okay, so I didn’t know what I was expecting but all I knew was it could’ve been ANYTHING BUT EMBARRASSMENT EVERY 2 MINUTES. This show was a game changer. One of the best BLs I have ever watched that actually fit my preferences, and even made me like something I totally dislike which is cringey scenes. I find almost NO plot holes or downsides in this series which really surprises me (except for too little TouchDaisy and TorSom scenes lmao). The OST was just *chefs kiss* and I WISH that they would release You’re The Magic In My Life in Spotify because it has MY WHOLE HEART! Production was just everything I needed it to be, the acting was IMPRESSIVE, especially BillySeng’s because they carried nearly EVERY EMBARRASSMENT in this series so props to them!

Okay, let’s talk about BillySeng. Beautiful pair and amazing acting; though their main plot can be concluded into one sentence, they definitely gave us more than enough satisfaction and embarrassment. I won’t say much about their storyline since like I said, it’s very simple but it’s their characters that really makes us think it’s more special than it actually is. I think their characters are so common yet so unique at the same time. Nuea was expectedly also crushing on Toh, but his honesty and boldness to confess their relationship to other people really made me love him, and the way his eyes spoke louder than his words whenever Toh was bothered or sad really made it obvious that he only had eyes for him. Plus, he didn’t let some obsessive girl control and take advantage of him but remained faithful to his boy. I just love him. Toh was obsessive in a healthy way, iykwim; the “rules of having a secret crush” proves and concludes my point. He wasn’t all that delusional and he knew his boundaries and kept a realistic and likable mindset, and I loved him for that. His daydreaming was always so wholesome and dramatic but it lit up my mood and it seemed so “Toh” of him. Okay, just saying, if I were Nuea and I discovered a whole museum of ME in my lover’s room, I’d be weirded out and grateful at the same time. I did kinda disagree with Nuea when he said not to mention breaking up with him because you shouldn’t enter a relationship if you aren’t ready for that, but at the same time, it showed us how much love he had for Toh because those words were unbearable for him. All in all, BillySeng portrayed their characters perfectly and I’ll be looking forward to them in War of Y where they’ll actually be serious for once!

Now let’s jump into HengSurprise! Perfect pair and circled so much real-life problems and insecurities. Their storyline is also simple, but like I said, their characters are what really draws us in. I relate to Jao so much and I think Sky is like the best and most unproblematic character I’ve EVER watched or seen, and what’s ironic is, I go by Sky online so I ended up loving him even more because it feels like we’re related lmaO If I were to act as Jao, I would’ve actually taken their offenses for real because I’m really insecure, so I stan Surprise for being able to relate and express his character so well and precisely. I was honestly shocked when he was bold to Sky about not having to hold back like that was so unexpected of him T-T I actually didn’t think they would go to THAT extent because they were always so sweet and fluffy so those scenes just made me 😳😩💗 I think SkyJao has one of the most healthiest and best relationships out of all those 100+ BLs I’ve watched. I wish to see more of them in the future!

I wished they showed us more of TouchDaisy’s and TorSom’s storyline because they’re so cute together! I think Daisy’s identity crisis thing going on gave us so much insight on how impactful one’s toxic opinions can be to someone, and I love Touch for reassuring Daisy on who she is and who she wants to be. Most of the time, I just fangirled over Touch’s perfect visuals like HE’S SO PERFECT??!! I also wanted to see more of Som’s stubborn and bossy side towards Tor like women empowerment sister 💅✨

I loved these four best friends’ friendship like whenever they cried together, it always made me laugh but soft at the same time. I need friends like them. I stan NueaToh’s parents like what a freaking mood. I’m also so excited for KongkwanFon’s upcoming series! I loved it when Jao gave up his pride and showed Nuea his own collection to help out his friend like how precious is that??? I honestly simp for Waiwai, don’t ask me why… she’s just fine. Prao was delusional. Peach was the definition of pick me. Lan and her favoritism is A MOOD. Kong was such a jerk but WHY IS HE SO FINE?! And of course we ain’t leaving our Saint out, he’s so cute and perfect and he looks genuinely proud of his lil juniors uwu

This series was definitely a unique one and totally in the best way possible! It circles realistic situations like transphobia, homophobia, physical insecurities, and toxic society. We need more series like this. This is definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever watched.

Imagine if he actually auditioned and was selected! DAMN he could've easily been a Kpop idol! He's so so so gorgeous!!😍🤍But…
I’m actually relieved he didn’t accept it cause Cube is literally a mess that only wastes and mistreats their artists! He’s so stunning either way :D

Title Cutie Pie Spoiler
Plot: 7.5/10

Acting: 10/10

BG music: 8.5/10

Characters: 8/10

Production: 10/10

Overall: 8.5/10

Okay, so I’ve seen many negative comments about the last episode and the whole series itself as well and I just wanna share MY thoughts. Okay, so the first episode definitely threw me off and I instantly LOVED it. The acting was perfect, the characters each had their own uniqueness, the production was one of the best, the OST was also great. I think the only downsides were the actual plot and the equal and fair screentime for each couple/storyline.

ZeeNew was one of the best pair I could possibly imagine, I personally think New was Zee’s best pair so far; I really think there’s actual chemistry between them and I wish to see them in a better-written series one day, if possible. They shocked me ever since the first episode because there was more contrast to their character than what I had expected, so they hooked me from the very start. As their storyline progresses and they actually get together, considering that they’re new to these kinds of things, they lacked trust with each other, causing problems in their relationship. The only thing that actually kept their relationship together was their clinginess to each other and their steamy scenes, other than that, they lied to each other about a lot, except for the fact that they loved each other. I agree that this was for the sake of them having a storyline because without these “problems”, it wouldn’t actually be as interesting as it was, but I also don’t think that their whole storyline could properly circulate by this kind of problem. Dishonesty, lack of trust, and insecurity was the main problems in their relationship, and though it is indeed accurate, it could’ve also been much better than it actually was. Also, in the last episode, I had a feeling that they made up too quickly; I wished they gave each other the space they needed that night because it’s very important in a relationship. Kuea also hugging Lian while crying seemed a bit too off for me, or it was probably just because he blamed himself more than Lian and he needed it at that moment. I did dislike Lian a lot because he kept playing with Kuea’s feelings or more like playing hard-to-get as if love is so simple for him, but if I was in Kuea’s place, I would’ve gave him a huge punch in the face honestly. Even in the ending, he still played hard-to-get just because he wasn’t the “manly” one who’ll propose, but then again, if it wasn’t for that then Kuea wouldn’t have found the “perfect” proposal. I think their storyline was kinda messy but also reasonable in a way, but I would love to see them in a better series, hopefully.

As for MaxNat, I wasn’t too attached to them, but there was definitely chemistry. I was honestly flabbergasted when they did their steamy scene because I didn’t actually expect them to have that much chemistry and vibe. I really wished they showed more about the accident before that caused Diao’s memory loss because it’s a BIG deal in a storyline, especially for me (this was why I said that one of the downsides was equal screentime for each couple/storyline). If they showed more of their storyline other than just showing us multiple make-out scenes of LianKuea(no hate), it would’ve made the whole series better with more depth and reasons for their actions towards each other. I was utterly confused on what their relationship was at first because the writers forgot to give importance to their past and storyline. It would’ve also probably helped more in creating relatable emotions, such was when Diao’s father was threatening Yi about his past; although we clearly feel annoyed at the situation, it would’ve felt oddly better if they actually gave us more info about their storyline. I also disliked Yi halfway through the series for obvious reasons; I don’t get why these “manly” characters strive so much just keep image and reputation as if it’ll even be affected. THIS IS LOVE PEOPLE, NOT WORK. Other than those, I did like them. I also adored the fact that Yi gave Diao a dog for compensation uwu

Okay, the ICONIC, the PERFECTION, the LEGENDARY—TutorYim EVERYBODY!!! I have A LOT to say. Like I said, one of the downsides was equal screentime for each couple/storyline and I am PRETTY disappointed.. AGAIN that the writers just keep showing us unlimited make-out scenes of LianKuea(no hate pt.2) instead of giving importance to WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS.. which is TutorYim. I think we can all agree that Nuea was a real jerk in the first eps, but we can all totally agree that TutorYim had the HEALTHIEST relationship out of all the other couples (or so that’s what the writers showed). Chemistry was undeniable, acting was PURRFECT, and Syn was just… oh my gosh I just LOVE him! I NEVER SAW SUCH A BOOTIFUL AND RELIGIOUS BOY IN MY LIFE, and as a religious person myself… I consider him my soulmate (get in line Nuea). Again, I am VERY disappointed that the writers didn’t give us ENOUGH, though I am VERY satisfied with their kissing scene (I mostly felt second-hand embarrassment but oh well). I honestly have NOTHING to complain about their characters or storyline, I ONLY blame the writers. At this point, I’ll actually pray just to see them in another series as main leads, if that’ll even happen.

Foei was just plain comedic and he brightened up everyone’s day. I personally adored how the families didn’t mind their sons being engaged to each other, just that Kuea’s mother did treat him like a child. I also LOVED Kuea lecturing his friends about offensive words and I wished I had a friend like him. And I also LOVED Lian scolding an employee about homophobia like he just had my whole heart at that moment. I also LOVED KueaDiao’s friendship like THEY’RE SO PRECIOUS! Of course, we ain’t leaving out YiLian’s business/wholesome friendship like they always have each others’ backs in the most formal way imaginable lmao Plus the ending scene of the trains passing by each other… just dang.

I personally think this series was great, it’s just that some of the storyline was messy and confusing, and the ending was pretty rushed and wasn’t impactful enough for me. I think this gives us an important lesson to always be considerate of our partner’s feelings before doing anything sudden—a public proposal, for instance. If we’re going to engage into someone, not only do we offer our whole mind and body, but our whole heart is required in this process. I wouldn’t say this was one of the best, but it was a bit over average for me.

Plot: 9/10
Acting: 9/10
BG music: 8.5/10

Overall: 9/10

Okay so I liked this more than I expected to. The chemistry is great, acting was mostly beautiful, the characters each had their own stories and development, the plot is deeper than you think and is filled with realistic situations and reasons.

Main leads were great, though I seldom notice Phat seeming like his tears are nonexistent, but I’m not an actor so I can’t really judge. Their chemistry was there and they harmonize well, if you get what I mean. Phob’s past must’ve really been a hard pill to swallow and I don’t blame him for doing what he did right before his death. Btw his fits were THE BEST like… slay bestie. As for Phat, doesn’t he have school lmaO He was either trying to solve Phob’s case or having some talk with his mother, it was kinda concerning. I guess they couldn’t totally afford that much so they kept the school thing vague but it would’ve been nice to see Phob just following Phat around and distracting him while in class. Anyways, their ending was so touching and I actually didn’t expect that but no regrets, really. I do hope to watch them together again.

As for the parents, I stan Phat’s mother. I love how strong she is and ARE WE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT HOW SHE WAS WATCHING LOVELY WRITER LMAO I just admire how supportive she was of Phat and tried to help him in his really unrealistic situation; genuinely surprised how she remained sane like that lol As for his father, I don’t really stand on his decisions to become a monk and leave his family but I wish him luck. And for Phob’s parents, I have mixed feelings about his father cause he was just plain jerky in my eyes but I admire him for moving on and forgiving himself. Phob’s mother seems like a sweet woman and I felt bad for her most of the time. Suddenly finding out you’re pregnant must be very shocking and I honestly would’ve been lost in my head; I appreciate her for keeping and raising Phob despite her early hatred for him and for finally loving him after years of hesitation and doubt. She deserved better.

As for the second lead couple, their plots were not too deep nor too shallow. I admit that I HATED Luck most of the time, it was obvious that he had no trust in Dream and kept doing selfish acts behind her back. I also have mixed feelings about Dream, at some times, I felt weird about her, and sometimes I liked her. I think she’s very supportive of Phat and I think she’s also very brave for using her “unfortunate” powers to help her friend out. I did have glimpses of her getting jealous of Phat and Phob so I was then unsure whether her relationship with Luck was even there in the first place. I honestly thought they were just friends but Luck was obvious with his feelings, it only became clear to me when Dream asked to break up. On top of that, they didn’t even seem to show that much chemistry in the series, it only showed more prominently during the ending, but the rest of the series, they didn’t even seem to look like a couple to me at all. Also, Luck’s constant barging into Dream’s home like it’s not weird is pretty creepy, especially for a girl. He just seemed like a red flag most of the time but I acknowledge his beliefs and reasons, though he was still in the wrong.

As for Nuan, my opinions about her kept changing in between the episodes and it became confusing lmao Also… tell me why I felt a spark between her and Phat’s mother T-T Anyways, I understood why she did what she did and that she’s desperate for true love because she never had the chance to find it in the first place, but still, she shouldn’t have messed with a man who had his own family. She created more problems just to fix her own and that’s beyond selfish for me. In the end, I was just relieved that she decided to start over, and I also liked that little moment with her father uwu

And lastly, Ben. I also had mixed feelings about him, it seemed more like obsession than just a mere crush. He went too far and the audacity to create his own play for someone he was obsessed with and even sugarcoating the important parts is just plain creepy and wrong. I did like it when he still stood up for Phob to Nuan, but until now, I still do feel uneasy about him.

Overall, this series was great and it delivers an important message to each and everyone of us; for me, it’s to “Love without negativity to anyone or anything.” We all have different viewpoints of negativity but we can all understand that the negativity here is “Hurting someone just for your own satisfaction and being aware of your mistakes but not doing anything about it.” The “love” in this context is plainly “Being happy for someone you truly love, even if it means getting hurt.” Such small actions can make the biggest differences, we all need to realize that. This series is definitely underrated and I would consider it a possible candidate for one of the best ones I’ve watched.

Okay so at first, I wasn’t really expecting much since I wasn’t that big of a fan of EarthMix but after watching more and more, it kind of drew me in little by little. I get why many people think that the body swapping was a lil off but it did give a chance for Win to realize how it was to be in his sister’s shoes physically—the menstruation part, for example. It also gave more depth into the characters like the “I care about Lin’s body” and all that, which caused Win to keep distrusting Korn over and over again.

I did hate Win in the first episodes but after seeing more of him, I also don’t blame him for being that way and it’s good that he realized in the end that he was wrong for many things and admitted his mistakes. One thing I also noticed is his honesty towards Korn when the monk lectured him about being aware of his words and actions towards others and I was honestly surprised someone as short-tempered as him would be that straightforward about apologizing and I really like that about his character. His representation of Jan is soo good as well! I can tell Mix’s acting here has improved and I’d love to see him more in other projects.

As for Korn, I consistently admired him for always holding back his anger for Win because he loved him so much. He did everything a guy who likes someone would do but because of his stupidity and clumsiness over his own words, it affected Win majorly that also made some distance between them from time to time. Idk if he deliberately provoked Win in many situations to find out if he had feelings for him but there were times I did dislike him more than Win. Also, his senior colleague was just a whole red flag to me lmaO Anyways, Earth did great his as well and I definitely feel more drawn into this couple.

For Jan, her representation of Win/Mix was REALLY on point to the point that I began imagining Win/Mix in her expressions and I really salute her for that. I only didn’t really like about how she kind of went with the engagement thing but I know she meant well so yeah. Non was just *chefs kiss* and his fashion style is just… so Non. WE LOVE A SUPPORTIVE FRIEND! As for their mother, I despised her the most and she caused every single thing to break off its place and I was soo frustrated with her in ep9 and 10 that I nearly cried! Until now, I can’t seem to fully like her since my mother is similar to her and I just naturally have a love-hate relationships with mothers. In and Nun were pretty trash but I admire Nun for refusing to cross the line despite his cockiness or whatever. In can live in denial all her life lmao

All in all, I liked it a lot and it was better than what I expected.. but not to the point where I’d say it was the best. I still can’t seem to fully engage in EarthMix even though I see undeniable chemistry between them but I’ll be supporting them! I guess it’s just not my type of plate to watch country-related series, though I’m pretty sure that’s EarthMix’s original concept or something. Again, it was great but not good enough to be considered the best (my opinion).

It’s very good, very underrated as well. The acting was beautiful and I do hope to see them in another BL, if possible, since this is only a short series and the actors have SO MUCH potential. After I watched this series, I decided to read the manhwa as well. When I read the manhwa, I realized the plot was pretty different from the series, and ngl, I do prefer the manhwa’s plot more than in the series because it actually has more realism and more depth, but considering since the series is only short, moreover, the title is also different, it did make sense. I do wish they could’ve used the original plot, although this was already good enough. It’s still a very good series overall. The characters were perfect, the chemistry, and character development was there. I was shocked at the budgeting as well. This definitely deserves more attention!

It was cute, I wish they had another series with better production and a more complex storyline though. Also, as much as the girl wasn’t rlly my favorite, I couldn’t help but notice how genuine and normal her questions were to Sato when she first met him. Most girls would ask “are you single?” like straightforward questions but I honestly rlly liked how she asked the most genuine questions like “what do you do for a living?”. It’s refreshing and I wish more females in dramas would be more like this. I also rlly liked the part where Bo Chun just came out out of nowhere and his friends didn’t hesitate to support him lmaoo also how they didn’t let the conflict go on for too long, each having the hesitation and anxious thoughts whilst still fixing it in just the right amount of time felt rlly nice for me, though I think it might just be bc this is only a short series with limited duration, but I still liked it either way.

Any romance in this?
There’s just mostly cute and soft moments between the two leads though the feelings of the other were only visible in the ending. Apart from that, it’s just mostly bromance :))

Am I the only one who noticed Aoki’s eyed would literally shake when he’s nervous or in panic?? I figured it may have been a glitch but it only worked on him. If my guess is correct then that sort of talent is very interesting and useful, especially in acting those kinds of scenes :))

Title Don't Say No Spoiler
Acting: 10/10
Plot: 7.5/10
Ending: 7/10

First of all, I really liked how they made Fiat's story and past more complex compared to Tharntype since they were only a side couple there. It shows his growth and improvement as a person and to the people he loves. Second of all, I love how Leo tries his best to always be there by his side, like when Fiat was saying sorry to Aunt Fay and Fa, he was by the door, and he waited outside when he talked with his dad. Third of all, can we talk about how wonderful their friends are?? Like there's literally no toxicity in the characters except for some moments, but I really liked each character in different aspects. Fourth of all, the acting is REALLY good that I actually wanted to punch objects because of King and Punn!! Fifth of all, the ending wasn't the worst. It was actually kind of realistic. You love that person so much that you can't watch their dreams get crushed because of you, so you let go. And besides, it wasn't even THE ENDING.. there's a special episode coming out soon. And by doing this, LeonPob can cherish their memories together more, and grow apart.

In love, you have to take a break from relationships and have a day to yourself, to understand, to find your inner self, to be more independent without your partner. Self-love is almost as important as commitment love, because without self-love, you won't be able to survive if you and your partner break up. Trust me, I've been there.

All in all, I really enjoyed its realistic storyline, and I would love to see both couples star in another drama again ^-^

Title Fish upon the Sky Spoiler
Acting: 10/10
Plot: 7/10

First of all, I liked it a lot, if only Pond's character was better. I personally think it was going well until they started dating. I didn't like how Mork pressured Pi into disclosing their relationship because he was insecure. If you think there's nothing wrong with that, then you should fix yourself. Second of all, can I just say how the acting was perfectly executed?? Especially Phuwin, I think acting isn't an easy skill and at a young age, I think he's doing a great job! All of the actors portrayed their character well and I really admire that. Third, the second lead couple for me, were better in some ways. Duean started as an asshole and Meen was literally soo cute and kept bothering him, but what I really loved was Duean's straightforward self and Meen's conscience. I wouldn't have expected their characters to have such a uniqueness and I loved it a lot! As for Pi, his situation was really relatable and I totally understand how he felt when Mork was invalidating his feelings. It sucks that because of the toxic society, relationships have to be broken like this and it's so disgusting!

Overall, I loved it despite the few flaws there was. If Pond and Phuwin had another future series together with better characters, I think that'd be a huge hit!

Anyway, it was worth it :))
