Is this really just a drama? I really feel like this is a movie that is divided into several parts because the visuals are really beautiful, the cinematography is very cinematic, the color grading is top notch and the cgi looks smooth. This is what you should do if a drama has a big budget and uses that budget to maximize every visual aspect like this, I don't even know when the last time I saw a drama with beautiful visuals like this. I'm really looking forward to this 🔥🔥🔥

The trailer is truly cinematic, absolutely extraordinary in terms of visuals, cinematography, and color grading. I’m really looking forward to this drama, and of course Wu Lei’s return to a costume drama is definitely something worth waiting for.
When do you think this drama will air?

lama amat woy, biasanya jam segini udah keluar episode 1 nya

Now that both actors have been confirmed to star in the drama together, I hope the rational international fans in both fandoms can support each other until the drama becomes a success. Let's stop bringing Weibo toxicity over here, what happens on Weibo should stay on Weibo and as international fans, we shouldn't let ourselves be affected by it.
Let's keep the comment space here with a healthy discussion about this drama peacefully.

All rumors regarding the broadcast of dwtt point to a sometime between December 2026 and January 2027.
I’m not sure if the platform is pressuring them to air it sooner or if the production team is simply confident in the final edit, who knows?
I really hope it has a smooth airing and becomes a success because it’s a drama I’ve been most awaiting, and I have high expectations given the strength of the production team.

I think you're underestimating the situation, she hasn't fully escaped the harassment from her previous male co-star's toxic fandom. They went to great lengths to tarnish Lu Yuxiao's reputation even dragging her father's name into it, forcing her team or studio to step in and take legal action against those spreading the slander. That’s why I’m not exactly thrilled about projects that put her in such an infuriating situation, even if they do look promising.
I just hope she lands a drama or film project where she can go through the production process in peace, free from unnecessary drama.

This is an excellent list, 80% of the people on it are my favorites and I always look forward to their future work. I also really like your comments on each of the actors and actresses.

I just hope that if Lu Yuxiao officially joins the drama, her role won't be too big so she can filming faster and finish sooner because I don't want her to stay in the project for too long after all the bad things she's been through these past few weeks.

I really hope they cast actors who can actually act for this drama rather than just relying on popularity and that they genuinely intend to create a high quality drama instead of just aiming for profit.

Why does the dwtt filming feel so long? I hope it wraps up soon so Lu Yuxiao can rest and go on vacation like usual.

Does anyone know when dwtt warp up will be? because I can't wait to see what drama Lu Yuxiao will take on next because she will definitely still be at home in hengdian. I hope the character she takes on next can be different and challenging like Shangguan Qian or Shao Yao

These 2 episodes are the introductory story while the other 6 episodes will be the main story.

How can you say the script is good while the scriptwriter himself admits that his writing is not good because the research he did on South Korean history was not comprehensive and detailed?

The first two episodes of this drama are excellent. The characters, comedy, cinematography, and samurai action scenes are all excellent. And what's most interesting is how each character understands how important the samurai are to them. I hope this drama can stay consistently good until the end.

would you say the same thing now?

Yeah sadly, but I think 27 episodes is more than enough for a modern romantic drama because look at LBL which only has 28 episodes but is very solid because the story is straightforward.

WIMTM has been approved for 27 episodes and has obtained its license as of today.
