really wish haeeun can move on bc it pain me to see her crying every episode like gyumin is ready to move on with…
Same and I can't help but feel like she sort of trying to hold him back from moving forward. Especially when she says things like "I hope you didn't have too much fun"
THIS EPISODE WAS SOOOOO GOOOD 😤 From Jiyeon and Wonbin's date to, Gyumin and Nayeon's date, to HAE EUN AND HEE DOO'S DATE!! Y'ALLLLLLLLLLLLL I AM LOOOOOVING THIS SEASON SO MUUUUUCH!!!
First Jiyeon and Wonbin's date!! DAMMNNN! I didn't think they'd have this much chemistry tbh!! I feel like they're the first pair I could see staying together for a long time. One of the hosts insinuated that Jiyeon did not feel anything for Wonbin and tbh that made me wonder if we watched the same date?? Anyways I'm rooting for them!
Second, Nayeon and Gyumin! I loved the latter part of their date. And NAYAEON LOL! She's sooooo flirty and straightforward. I really do like her. Though this pair has loads of chemistry, It's hard for me to root for them since I feel like they've only scratched the surface and have only flirted with one another (thus far).
YOOOO I seriously enjoyed Hae Eun and Hee Doo's date surprisingly!!! I love Hee Doo's demeanour too! Oh and my heart fluttered when he WAS GOING FAST AND WAS HOLDING HAE EUN'S HANDS. Truly people do look more charming when they're in their element.
Idk why the hosts were acting like Gyumin and Nayeon were crossing the line when they were looking at the pics in her bed? First, her roommate wasn't there, so it's not like they were disrespectful. Second, this is the whole point of the show? To make connections lol.
I truly hope that the squad can make more space for Hee Doo because he looks like an introvert. Also, I like him better than Min Gi. I know this isn't a competition but I lowkey got rude vibes from Min Gi. I like Hee Doo because although he's introverted, he seemed very thoughtful and he was very kind to his date so kudos to him.
Can't wait for next week where we'll be getting a double treat!
I also got the feeling that Jiyeon is might be a little more invested in getting back together than Tae-i is.…
I agree with you! I think that maybe he would feel more affection for Jiyeon if he knew how she still felt about him. At the same time though I feel like he might feel more sorry towards her than anything? Like he constantly recalls on the fact that he never cooked for her etc. So I wonder how willing he is to rekindle their romance...
I think that Jiyeon like everyone else has her limits. For example, when Tae-I and Yi Hyun were bickering she mentioned that she felt like they crossed the line. I think that Jiyeon is very intelligent and mature and I can tell that she's very aware of all the possibilities that this show entails (meaning that her ex could fall in love with someone else, and likewise for her). Though when emotions are involved, it obviously complicates things. I also wonder about how she will react to Nayeon and her ex since they seemed very close in the trailer. And if it turns out that it was indeed Nayeon hugging Tae-I, I truly wonder what kind of emotions will be brewing inside Jiyeon.
Yes I agree! They both give me golden retriever vibes lol!
Jiyeon did say that she wanted someone sweeter which is why I ship her and Wonbin but I really do wonder what they dynamic will look like?
Wonbin does seem like he falls very hard when he likes someone which makes me sooooo curious about the reason he and Jisoo broke up.
I feel like your prediction makes a lot of sense! I do see Wonbin getting super hung up on Jiyeon (maybe) wavering and not being firm about whether she likes him or not.
I'm also very reasy for all the drama!!! I see people saying they don't like that this show has a lot of drama from the get-go but I'm soooo living for it 🤣🤣🤣
I'm fully embracing my investigator hat because this show leaves me with soooooo many questions!! & yes I can't wait til we see who the mystery girl hugging Tae-I is haha 🤣
I really like Jiyeon and Tae-i together. Her concern and care for him really touched me. However, I think Jiyeon…
I also got the feeling that Jiyeon is might be a little more invested in getting back together than Tae-i is. Especially since Tae-I was so whipped for Yi Hyun.
I also can't wait for Wonbin and Jiyeon's date! I wan't to see them interact because so far I don't really see any romantic chemistry. Like I kind of find it difficult to picture them as a couple (probably because they don't have that many interactions).
Part of me thinks that the upcoming drama is going to be due to Jiyeon still having feelings for Tae-i which might upset Wonbin because he feels like he's put all of his eggs in Jiyeon's basket (lol) but Tae-i has moved on with Nayeon.
Also, the person hugging Tae-i in the trailer kinda looks like Hae Eun?? Like the hair from the back?? Maybe I'm bugging but if it turns out to be her, you heard it here first 😂😂😂
yeah mingi is my type 😭 i feel like he'll be totally goofy once he's comfortable with you by looking at his…
Saaame!! I really wanted to know more about his past relationship with Yi Hyun too! I felt like he should have stayed, but I also understand that him being aware that Yi Hyun was breaking the rules puts him in a difficult situation. Anyways, it is what it is 🤷🏾♀️😕
One thing that surprises me concerning the overall reaction of peeps concerning Yi Hyun's eviction is how no one is taking into consideration the fact that she literally breached her contract. The fact that the producers removed her from the show quietly, without even mentioning the specific reason for her departure, shows compassion and genuine understanding. It's absolutely ridiculous to blame the producers when they've been so kind and gracious bout the whole situation.
Anyways. I'm disappointed about Min Gi leaving. I was so invested in getting to know him better since he's so quiet and keeps to himself a lot.
This season is sooooo different from the last and I can understand that it can be jarring at first, but the twists and turns have shown just how good this whole concept is executed. I fully trust the producers and I am sure that we'll have an amazing season. Different from season 1, but great nonetheless.
Yooooooooooo I can't even explain it, but when I saw Yi Hyun staggering down the steps and going back home I LITERALLY ASKED MYSELF CAN PEOPLE GET DISQUALIFIED ON THIS SHOW AND I LEGIT FELT LIKE SOMETHING WAS GONNA HAPPEN AND IT DID!!! Anyways, this has me shook but lowkey I'm happy Yi Hyun is out. There's a certain vibe I get from her that's odd.
“We’ve all done it” uhh who’s WE? I have never been irresponsible enough to get behind the wheel when…
I was about to ask the same thing. Who the hell is WE? Drunk driving is literally a crime. I truly hope that her license either gets suspended or that she faces the proper consequences associated with her crime.
I just don't understand why he changed his number?mi jung wants to continue contact with him
Yes, I most definitely agree that part of the reason he left was to protect the fam. I remember in ep 12, his friend that came to visit him at Mi Jung’s mom's house said something along the lines of "forget about Baek trying to kill you, it's the Chairman that'll kill you if you don't come back."
So I think that a part of him knew that he'd never actually be able to live in peace in Sanpo from then.
I just don't understand why he changed his number?mi jung wants to continue contact with him
Mr. Gu made it very clear that he doesn't want to be mixed up in 2 different worlds. In ep 12, he said this to Mi Jung after she says that they should meet up every month or so, "I want to leave a clear-cut life. [...] This world is this world, and that world is that world."
There are 2 versions of Mr. Gu and both are on either end of the spectrum. There's the notorious Mr. Gu and there's also the quiet carpenter Mr. Gu. Both are so different that he wants to the either or. He doesn't want the 2 versions of himself to overlap in any way whatsoever. Either he's the broken, depressed and hopeless Mr. Gu or either he's the Mr. Gu that's being worshipped by Mi Jung. He's so terrified of being loved that he'd rather go back to what's familiar to him and that's pain.
That subject is also adressed my Mi Jung in episode 10. She says this, “You were ready to let a dog bite off your arm. And yet, you find it hard to hold a woman? You think it’s cool to endure pain with clenched teeth, and it’s dull to have a cute happy life with a woman?”
All that to say that of course Mr. Gu loves Mi Jung. But he also said that he was scared of her. Fear & love usually have a hard time getting along, and usually mostly one ends up taking over.
Waited a week for a kiss that wasn't even shown on screen properly... talk about bad camera angles OMFG.... I…
Honestly, I think that it was done on purpose. I have no idea why, but I am convinced that there's a specific reason as to why that kiss wasn't properly shown.
