This is a classic example of a passive-aggressive comment. You allude to "the obsessive angered kid "…
Yea, I'm not avoiding confrontation, I could care less if they confront me. My comment is directed towards those who are rightfully and in a normal manner voicing their opinions. I feel like it should be obvious that I feel no hostility. I want other commenters to see that it isn't worth engaging in argument with such commenters who do show high levels of anger and hostility.
I'm sorry that you feel upset about my comment. I'd like to assure you, the reason I didn't call this person out by user us because they are showing themself by replying to nearly every other comment with unnecesary, (and possibly even hurtful to some) aggressive replies. While I don't think it is necessary for the exact reason I've just stated to say who this person is, I will say it is user etoks21.
Do I think the way that some users are responding back to them is kind? No. I don't believe it is right to fight against those who are not worth fighting with. I believe strongly in being the bigger person.
While my comment was not about you, I hope you can move past it with a different perspective. Unfortunately, I have to say most, if not all, of the things you called me, or said I do/feel, are not true. But I felt like I should reply to you in hopes of clearing some of it up for you, or others who may misinterpret my comment.
To everyone mentioning (or wanting to mention) the obvious topic in the drama about grooming, or other things even, please try your best to ignore the obsessive angered kid in the comments. They're trying to start an argument with every comment lmao, dw ab them. I'm assuming its some sort of projection, or just a painful obsession with ragebait! But they're in the minority here, and while I didn't skip the scenes because unfortunately, grooming is real and a part of Akira's story, it also made me very sad and uncomfortable. Kids typically don't realize that they were groomed until they're older, which is really upsetting. Just know your feelings on it are valid.
Btw, if the angry commenter sees this, just know I have no plans on replying to you, or feeding into whatever obsession you have. I assume you'll see this, so just know trying to argue with me is a waste of time.
i wanna watch the ep 8 special clip so bad but girl I'm not paying iqiyi to give me no subs, all the other special clips have so many subs ?? PLZZ ๐ญ
ppl saying they can't believe the scene ended like that but idk... every episode so far has picked back up right where it left off.... yall remember screaming at the end of ep 6 and then the beginning of ep 7 happened? idk maybe I'm wrong but I sure hope I'm not ๐ญ
8.9 ? ยซย Me And Theeย ยป also 8.9 !!Can someone explain to me how raftings work here ?? The fans give ratings…
Fans can rate based on the story even when it's still ongoing. From what I've read, and am experiencing, this show has been getting many people, like me, through their days. The comfort this show brings to people is off the charts, which is why the rating is too. If you don't enjoy the show, that's okay. Your opinion is valid. But these are facts.
Nearly every character in this show brings a comfort to people like me. The different friendship dynamics, the pacing of the main couple, the genuine words and actions towards one another in this show are what so many people need to see right now in a time where everything can seem so evil, so daunting.
Not even just the show itself, but the actors that play these characters are real people with real true friendships and genuine chemistry. You can feel this through their characters, many of which are extremely similar to who they really are as people.
'Duang with You' showed up at the perfect time for so many of us. It's an safe place a lot of us didn't know we needed so badly until it came around.
I do agree, many people are quick to rate highly just because their favorite actors/pairs are in the show, even if the show isn't great (subjectively), which makes people confused on if its actually that good. Personally, I've been waiting for TeeTee and Por to have their own series for the last year. But for a lot of people, they just stumbled upon this series and it stuck with them.
I go into every show thinking I may love it or hate it. It's been the same with this one. I could drop the show at any point because I don't like it, regardless of my adoration for the actors. But I genuinely think this show is wonderful, and that it will only get better from here. I see that many people who had no idea who TT and Por were fell in love with the show.
There is bias everywhere, but DWY to me, and to many, many other people, is a genuine game-changer in not only BL, but in the genre of rom-coms as a whole. If you're wondering why the rating is so damn high, its because it deserves to be.
Does anyone know if we're getting an official ep6 reaction video this week? I know there was the screening and ppl obv lost their minds at it, but I mean like Mandee posting the cast full reaction from the ep6 screening on yt like they usually do? I'm so sorry but I am barely on social media rly besides checking tt and por's instas these days lmao so I never have any idea ab what is going on
the only motivation i have these days to wake up and go to work is that it's one day closer to the next dwy episode
Literally have sm work today and I'm just telling myself when I get it done I'll rewatch the episode again.... this series is literally getting me through this job rn
He's a shower and it grows on you eventually. First few episodes I was struggling with him to be honest.
Wish this comment could be pinned bcus you describe him so well and some people drop too early because he's "too much", but you're so on the dot with this
