Title Don't Say No
It is true part of Leo and Fiat's backstory is given in TT2, but that series was so awful that you'd better not…
Thanks. πŸ™‚ I struggled through TT and had zero interest in TT2. Good to know I didn't miss anything.

Title Don't Say No
I've watched two episodes of this so far and I feel absolutely nothing for any of the characters. Maybe this will change, but I just don't care if Leo and Fiat are together or not. The problem with a lot of these series is that we don't get much of a backstory, so we're not all that invested in the characters, so whether they end up together or not doesn't really matter. (Edit: After reading the other comments apparently they were in TT2, but I didn't watch that, so these are entirely new characters to me.) I might easily overcome this lack of interest if it was 8 or even 10 episodes, but 12 episodes is daunting when I couldn't care less about their relationship. I'm not giving up just yet, but at the same time I wouldn't bet on my completing this.

Just on the first episode and saw my least favourite four-letter word... MAME.

With this series I feel like the episodes are over before I know it. I'm just getting into it and then freeze-frame and it's done. I'm still wondering where this is going and in a way that could be intentional or an unfortunate by-product. I like to think it is the former, and we're building to an emotional finale. I don't know what sort of ending we'll get and that makes me a little anxious, but I'd rather that then waiting for the obvious conclusion.

Anyway, we've had some really beautiful performances from the two leads and they've handled the heavier tone of this very well.

My fear with this series is that it'll be far more tragic than I'm anticipating. I'm feeling a knot in my stomach because of it. I think a big part of it is due to the fact that I don't know where it's going. It's not conventionally predictable, but I can see myself sobbing in the end.

Anyway, this is a very competent effort from a first-time director. I have issues with some of the scene lengths and the incessant music, but it has achieved an emotional impact that this story required. The performances are generally good with Title being a standout.

I did enjoy this, despite some of the weaknesses. In some ways it fell into some of the tropes of other BL, but at least it was a different setting and we had some sweet and funny moments. I think being 8 episodes kept it from becoming too tiresome or adding too much nonsense. Some series that go to 12 or 13 episodes tend to have some scenes, if not entire episodes, you could ditch.

Of course I liked the main couple, but absolutely adored Pitch and Bank. I would definitely like to see them in another series together. 😍

Is this worth watching?
I would recommend watching it. It's enjoyable enough with a different setting compared to other BL. Also, it's only 8 episodes, so not as much of a commitment as some other series.

On Samurai Cat Season 2 Aug 18, 2021
This wasn't bad, but nowhere near as good as the first season. With the first season there was a story arc you could follow throughout, whereas with the second it felt more like individual episodes that didn't contribute much to the overall series. Some of the episodes felt like they were just there for comedic value and didn't really go anywhere. Even the last episode seemed to end abruptly and left me confused. I had to come and check if it actually finished with episode 11 or there was a 12th episode that wasn't listed. All that aside, it's a cute enough series and if you're not expecting too much you'll probably enjoy it.

I'm still enjoying this. It's a shame there is only one episode to go because I feel like there are some aspects of this that might not be resolved adequately, but at least we've had something different from this series.

I didn't know what to expect from this, but I enjoyed it a lot. It's a little bit silly, which isn't a criticism, but it manages to balance the humour well with a good story. I'll definitely be checking out the other series.

The only down side is that it makes me miss my white cat who passed away two years ago. 😿

Correct me if I’m wrong, did any of the couples kiss? I legit can’t remember if they did or not lmao
I don't think they did, unfortunately. Some handholding, but disappointingly I think this we were baited into watching this.

This started out shaky, got a bit better, but had a relatively disappointing finish. It isn't the best series ever made, nor is it the worst, but for a low-budget series it was, umm, tolerable.

I think the product placement is the clumsiest I've ever seen. I suppose they have to do whatever it takes to…
That's true. I suppose I take it for granted in my country that children get an education and are not forced to leave school, or not go to it at all, to support the family.

There's something about this series that really appeals to me. Although I love a bright and happy series as well, sometimes you need something a bit sombre. I'm wondering where it's going in terms of the timeline. Is this going to be entirely set in the past, or will we get some resolution in the present day, or future? Anyway, even though it has a slow pacing, it feels like the episodes are over too soon.

Actually Phupha (Sky's dad) and Sakkhee (the other gangster) have amazing chemistry. What they do to each other…
They do have each other's phone numbers. Maybe they have each other's snap as well. πŸ˜†

I'm enjoying this series a lot. It walks a nice line of emotion, sweetness and humour. I'm somewhat devastated we only 2 episodes to go, but I would rather be satisfied with 8 good episodes, than have a disappointing 10 or 12. I would love to see these characters, or actors, in another series. I can see I'm not alone with my adoration of Pitch and Bank. πŸ₯°

Now wait a minute, are they saying I gotta pay to see the last 2 episodes? Or is that just like an early access…
I'm hoping it's just early access.

To me, the soap product thing is a cultural artifact, not a racist one. Upper class women in the U.S. long ago…
It's very much a cultural thing. A Vietnamese girl I was friends with used to love going to the beach and would consequently get a tan. Her grandmother would say she looked ugly because of it. In her grandmother's mind it was a sign of working in the fields.

In my country, having a tan was once seen as desirable because it denoted health or an outdoors lifestyle. Unfortunately it also lead to extraordinarily high levels of skin cancer.

But the teacher's son is cute, you must admit it...
Yes, I love the teacher's son too.
