They have their own motive that is why they are showing interest in theo and opportunity came in their hand with…
I was barely through the first episode and thought it's going to be Akk. I wish they hadn't built up the relationship as much between Theo and Akk so early on because it feels so obvious that Akk is going to be Enchanté. Anyway, I may end up surprised, but I'm not that hopeful.
I really like the look of this and have only been able to watch half of episode 1 so far. I might have to put it on hold until there's a guaranteed source of subbed episodes unfortunately.
I've watched two episodes so far and I'm not all that impressed. This was a series I was looking forward to since the original preview and I was worried it might not get made, but I'm just underwhelmed by the final product. Nothing about Theo so far deserves the attention of four potential suitors. Like, he's nice looking, but he's not devastatingly handsome or that charismatic, so I just have to suspend my disbelief and go with it. Maybe I need to wait until we get more into the story, but I'm already assuming how this will end so everything between now and the ending is just going to be potential filler.
When I started watching this I didn't think much of it, but it did grow on me and had its unique charm and quirks. However my frustrations with this built over time and I found myself in the position where I didn't care if the main couples didn't end up together. Phap kept putting himself out there and Maze was a jerk from beginning to end. I didn't like Nueng either. I understand they can't make the road to their relationship easy because it might be boring otherwise, but I'm so sick of the toxicity. If you have to work so hard to get the other person to express their feelings despite you being explicit with how you feel, it's just not worth it.
I'll admit this wasn't exactly what I was expecting, not in a bad way, but the original preview for this made it look a lot more intriguing than it actually turned out. We had some solid performances and a relatively decent plot, with a few surprises here and there, so I can't really complain.
My main issue with it was that Mim was not a sympathetic character, so I didn't care if she was dead or alive, or if anyone was brought to justice for her disappearance. I ended up feeling sorry for Giwi, which should not be the case, but at least Giwi was unabashedly evil.
What an incredible series! Seriously one of the best I've watched. Not only was it well-acted, but had a very nice message to it. I loved the look of the preview and it definitely didn't disappoint throughout and well worth your time to watch it.
I'm not saying this was terrible, but it certainly was a very weak series. Great cast, but a weird storyline with too much filler. I'm not familiar with the original/source material, but there was just something not right about this series either in content or execution. Pairing a fluffy story with child murder is... odd, to say the least. Honestly the only thing that stopped me dropping this was that they were showing more than one episode a week and it filled in time waiting for other (better) series. It's a shame when they have a good cast, but they waste them on something like this, which I can only imagine they make because they know people will watch it because of the actors in it rather than the story or production quality.
The preview makes it look like a pretty generic BL without much to set it apart. Will probably watch it, but it's not a terribly compelling preview, just cutesy sweet scenes without much depth shown of the potential story.
This is a fantastic series. I think all the characters have really good stories to tell and I really want to see where this goes. The promo looked good and it has certainly lived up to my expectations.😊
This is such a great series. Although I've seen the age jump thing before, it is a really well done here, with a nice balance of humour and sensitivity to the characters stories. I like that they're taking time to build up the characters, which helps build a connection to their individual story. Every once in a while you get a series that stands-out for all the right reasons and this is definitely one of them.
I think I could tolerate this series more if it was just one thing, but it feels like the there is too much going on and it's not doing any of it particularly well. The cast is completely wasted, which is such a shame. Fortunately we are half way through and because I didn't really know much about the story it isn't exactly a total disappointment like some other series.
Of all the trailers I've seen so far for new series, this one is the first one that I'm on the fence about. I'm happy seeing Poy (who is just adorable) and Cooper together again, but there wasn't exactly anything else that made me think I must watch it. I'll give it a go when it comes out though, so open to changing my mind.
Just watched the first episode and loved it. I can relate a lot to the idea of wanting to go back and right wrongs. This series might well be an emotional ride, but I'm happy to go along with it.
Another amazing looking series for 2022. I'm not sure if all the ones we were promised for this year got made, but there certainly looks like a lot of promising series for next year.
My main issue with it was that Mim was not a sympathetic character, so I didn't care if she was dead or alive, or if anyone was brought to justice for her disappearance. I ended up feeling sorry for Giwi, which should not be the case, but at least Giwi was unabashedly evil.
Another series I'm falling behind in the episodes. 😅
