Well so many good shows tbh. There are also Family by Choice, i think 4 first episode is a good moodlifter. Judge from Hell also quite entertaining. Then there is also Jeong-Nyeon.

In Go Ahead, she is.

When her 2 brothers come home and reunite after some years lived far away, Ju-Won isnt their cute little sister anymore.

Well let see how she will develop in Family by Choice.

I rewatch 2 first episodes of Family by Choice again.
From Ju-Won pov, she see them all as family. She see San-Ha and Hae-Jun as her older brother. From all their gestures it shows they are all close like family.

But, somehow the Korean showmaker make their family bonding not as close as the original. We can feel it, thats some part we complain.

JianJian always call her brother "Gege" and "Xiao Ge", means "older brother" and "little older brother". Zi Qui called Ling Xiao father as Ling ba (papa Ling), and Ling Xiao called JianJian's father as Li ba (papa Li).

Ju-Won occasionally called San-Ha "oppa", but Ju-Won never call Hae-Jun "oppa", Hae-Jun even giggle when Ju-Won called him "oppa". I dont understand Korean, i hardly hear what she address Hae-Jun, its translated sometimes as "you" or "brother" but i didnt hear "oppa". Ju-Won and Hae-Jun didnt call San-Ha's father as "father", more like "sir"? i think i heard they called him "ahjussi".

In the Korean version, so far we didnt see Ju-Won become so clingy to her brother especially to San-Ha. She really cared her two brother so much, but not on the same level of emotion like in Go Ahead. It probably because its only 4 episode aired or the showmaker did it on purpose.

This kind of things that made their bond is not as close as the og, and i think the Korean did it on purpose. So when they develop it to romantical relationship beween the sibling it doesnt feel as creep as the og version.

As for Ju-Won she see them all as family, but from Kim's family pov maybe not the same level as Ju-Won's. And hard to see how Hae-Jun see San-Ha's father. From some viewers pov probably their family bonding isnt convincing enough, because each family member value their relationship differently.

Yeah, in the og it was so clear she called them as Gege and Xiao Ge. And there is that one scene when she is announced her first period and showoff her bra her brother bought for her really set the tone JianJian see them all as close family member, she cant see them as an outsider even Ling ba and Ling Xiao lived upstairs.

In Family by Choice, Ju-Won rarely called San-Ha "oppa", but she called him "oppa". She never called Hae-Jun "oppa", even Hae-Jun giggles when Jun-Wo cutefully called him "oppa". In Family by Choice, the showmaker make the family bonding more distant from the og.

the og spent only 1/3 of the story in highschool time, from around ep14 the story shifted to adult time until it ended at ep40. If this adaptation follow main plot from the og, it'll probably the same and it'll be not a school drama.

I kept repeating watch them perform Chunhyangjeon on live stage. I kept rewatch all the episodes, but i rewatch the most is episode3. Their performance is so captivating, personally its my favorite episode so far.

I hope Jeong-Nyeon will have opportunity to perform like that again, and seeing her rivalry with Yeong-Seo again. Their rivalry remind me of Na Hee-Do vs Go Yu-Ri, fierce competition which push eachother to be better.

I tried to take a look the webtoon after watching the series because im curious of what happen next. From early chapter its so different than the series, no wonder the webtoon fans complained about it.

As for me, i prefer the series.

Yeah, dont know what is on Hye-Rang's mind. Is she just championed Yeong-Seo and see Jeong-Nyeon as a close rival to her, or jealous to Jeong-Nyeon? But i cant see her jealousy reason too.

No point to remove Jeong Nyeon from competition, Joo Ran herself is average. So many competitors above Joo Ran if she want to climb the ladder. The way i see it she is sincerely want to befriend Jeong Nyeon after heard her voice, just like Jeong Nyeon greet Yeong Seo after their first duet.

But im too anticipate if Joo-Ran have betrayal plot to Jeong-Nyeon.

God dam, what is the meaning of opening scene that involved (real) Hae-Ri ? Is she still live somewhere? Or its a metaphore she went to heaven? Or she will be the healing for Eun-Ho? Or Eun-Ho will follow (real) Hae-Ri's footstep by going to beautiful place like that (even if it only in her mind)?

Will (real) Hae-Ri return at the end of the show? and she is a plot to heal Joo Eun-Ho?

They always said it, then pause for a bit long before continue their speak. (alter) Hae-Ri also spoke like that, probably twice when meet psychiathrist.

I also guessing its Eun-Ho, the scar is defferent, probably its the wound from car accident. There is car accident scene where a coworker of Eun-Ho spot Eun-Ho and reported it to Moon Ji-On.

From the way they spell it, Eun-Ho and Hyen-Oh sounds almost the same.

Hard to guess how it'll end, or with who. And its not office drama anyway, eventho many characters involved with Eun-Ho are work in an office.

And its the scene where (real) Hae-Ri is missing, why they make the scene beautifully? What happened to her? Is that a metaphore that she is gone to heaven?

She probably tell the police that her name is Joo Hae-Ri.

Her scar on her hand isnt the same and it look fresh, probably its the scar from car accident. And Hyeon-Oh asked her what he supposedly call her.

Wow, that is long history. i watched Handmaiden with no attention to Kim Tae-Ri, i admire her work since 25-21, when she flawlessly playing Na Hee-Do, a character way younger than Tae-Ri's actual age that time. I really thought she is younger then.

I think i can see naive part of Sok-Hee in Jeong-Nyeon, but for many part i see her more like Na Hee-Do. Her fighting spirit, competitiveness, rebelious, fiercefull, hot headed.

there are too many hidden except, if her word put on a pamflet or brochure, there will be star mark at the end of her line.
