It's a gay, gay, gay world and I love every minute of it!
I honestly cannot pinpoint exactly why I loved this bl so much. Its 3 storylines are fairly generic(although 1 has some dark elements) and nothing new is really explored. That being said, the fact they were able to hold my interest with all 3 stories in such a short span-20-25 minute episodes and 10 episodes-speaks volumes about the production. Each story was given equal airtime and I was left satisfied with each outcome. I never felt there was "missing" plot pieces. Overall, all 6 leads were likeable and did well with their roles. Some were a bit "greener" in their acting but to be expected from some newcomers. Each couple had great chemistry, but if I had a criticism, it would be some suspect kissing between J-min and Kim Yong Seok, mostly from J-min, but this being his first role, I gave him some slack. This was a light, breezy and fun watch! Was this review helpful to you?

Sloppy but sexy
Listen, forget the sloppy story. It really was just all over the place. That being said, the 6 men comprising the 3 couples each really nailed the kissing and NC scenes. The scenes were erotic, but not vulgar and the kissing was some of the most passionate I've seen in a BL. I give each actor A+ for commitment. I just wish Tutor and Yim could get a well-rounded plot in the future. The two of them just nailed the chemistry and kissing in this series and deserve better. On a side note; call me shallow but Mark and Willi just have killer bodies that we got to see on display here, especially Mark! I was glad to finally see Mark have a partner in one of these!! Don't go into this looking for deep story telling and plot, just enjoy the romance. Was this review helpful to you?

Lost Opportunity
What a mess of a show. There were glimmers of hope that were dashed quicky. Decisions by characters never make any sense and when 1 of the 2 main leads can't act in a dramatic scene to save his life, you've got issues. I like Gun in comedic roles, but he truly struggles if the scene calls for emotions or tears. The 2 teen characters faired better, but their story was so erratic! Here's hoping if Luminous:Begins ever gets made they improve things. Was this review helpful to you?

What a mess!
This will be short and sweet(well, not so sweet) While this had potential; beautiful cinematography, 2 male leads with nice chemistry it all went to hell in a hand basket as we progressed. This story was just bad and the editing/choppiness of it all did not help. As mentioned, the 2 mains faired well, but the rest of the cast did not. I like Marc, but he was awful here(not to mention his kissing scene was just bad). Toward the end, absolutely nothing was making any sense. And the character of Ken should have died multiple times, I mean he was strangled twice and beaten to a pulp almost every episode! It seems they had the budget to work with, but did not bother using it on a coherent script. Was this review helpful to you?
