Good Drama

I always write my thoughts  a bit later to let things cool down and see what I might miss. I know a lot thinks is rushed (yes is a bit, and they could have added a bit more regarding the ending credits that viewers to not feel empty)
I noticed many were annoyed Sieun  didn't fight back much at least in the first part (lets not forget he was never a fighter and when does fight, he cheats and can actually harm someone badly).
His rage suppressed and emotional state shows the most in the fights.
While he vows to not, in his mind the urge is always there (the scene on the stairs when he wanted to stab was so huge, but hold on)
The MC is a traumatized kid from past events and the guilt is huge. His parents never understood him. While his father said it was not his fault, I doubt it was with all his heart.
The mother thought it was her fault, but never stood and heard her soon, to understand who is with reality., same goes with the father. Same goes for Baku's father. Si eun had to slit open his eyes a bit to see his son is not a bad kid how he saw him. Comparing him with his mother, only because he never tried to reach him is harsh.
Had to be some knew kids with who he befriend to tell him that with sincerity.
I do agree on one matter, although: they could have fleshed out more the main character's background.
We know Baku and Baek jin were friendly, but it seems they didn't know much about them. No communication at all between them.
A bit more about Gotak and Seong Je. We only know they fought and last destroyed his knee.
I liked the bond he formed with his new friends and that in the end he had the courage to enter his BBF hospital room.
As I said, Si eun never was a fighter, but used his brain to defeat his opponents. Practically, he disabled Baek Jin, which might have sent him to his dismissal, because he could not fight 100% for his life.
Yes, in the webtoon he died hit by the trunk of doom, but in the manwha by the hand of the gangster he worked under.
Good season. The emotions, the fights, the east were on point.
New place, new friends, new personalities.
It was less violent, some say, but I think it was equal in a way, but I felt it had more depth to the MC character.
A rant of mine: ppl saying the actors looked old, GEE, why does nobody rant on the romcoms when most are OLD when they play students?
