Sure Gu Man's male lead leaves a bit to be desired but Yangyang portrayed Xiao nai and yu tu so far to near perfection. You'd imagine the scene while reading the novel and this is even better. Most of the time, the actor simply can't live up to your colorful imagination but it's not the case here. I guess novel readers and non readers simply see the drama in a different light.
