You should give Love and Redemption a go. Still airing so dunno how the ending will be but right now its super cute and the MLs have great chemistry hehe
Technically they win against the case with the Leng family, and her fathers case is also opened up again in court. Everyone gets their bit of romance and happy ending/closure :)
Probably one of the best sad dramas I've ever watched. First drama i watched up-to-date and first comment i've ever posted on mdl lel.
The ending was quite satisfying despite being a tragic one. At least is wasn't a cliff-hanger or open ending. Tbh probably cried more when Gu Jian died tho.... Love the main guy but he deserves to be the one to live on and remember everything. Would've been weird if they got together at the very end after all those deaths. (i know everything he did was to keep her safe but yah know...)

Definitely agree with you! If only they made an extra episode to give the drama a happy ending, especially after watching 90+ episodes then this would've been such a good drama. Same thing with Princess Weiyang aswell. Good drama but sad ending after the main couples have been through so much. However i still enjoyed watching it , just abit painful to rewatch again though
