I'm not trying to take this out of context, but I found the phrasing a little odd 'I have no idea how dark Filipino…
Wow, you can tell them apart? I'm from SE Asia, and even I can't even tell SE Asians apart just by looking at them. I can't easily tell Chinese, Korean and Japanese apart as well because they generally have similar features. The only time I can distinguish is when they start talking.

Atashi mo, personality is the best regardless of skin color.

Hava, great job on this article! I have seen MatsuJun in Gokusen and Kimi Wa Petto. Loved him in Gokusen and although I didn't entirely like the story in KWP, I thought his role was challenging and he played it superbly.

I think I'd give Bambino a try--enthusiastic and cocky with cooking and hungry...mmmm ;)

This!
The apparent discrimination against dark-skinned people in Asian dramas. I think Hava's comment can't be helped; because it's what the drama made her realize or it's one message that the drama was trying to get across.

I agree that it is a simplified generalization (the only way to tell Filipinos apart from other Asians is our tanned skin). Wherever you go in SE Asia, you'll find most of the people here are tanned and even our facial features, our build and our way of life are also similar. It takes more than that to distinctively tell us apart.
I remember browsing MatsuJun's MDL profile and found Smile. Although I admit I am reluctant because it seems like a melo, I hope I won't find the same disappointment as I did in OB--which left me wondering if Koreans really discriminate against dark-skinned people.

Loved the movie. My heart broke somewhere in the middle but it ended in a neat pretty bow. I hope the drama writer does justice to it. I'm keeping an open mind about watching the drama. Besides, I don't hear any complaints about the remake of KJH's My Girlfriend is an Agent--which could be a hit or not. *cough, cough*

'My Girl' by the Temptations will always be a classic favorite of mine.

Hi! I'm still at episode 2 and it's not as comedic as I hoped it would be. But it's too early to tell. So far, I like the actor who plays the villain--Lee Hee Joon because his acting is so flexible. He was funny in TPM, and a bit serious in Wild Romance, but here he's just so cool in the fight scenes. I'm such a kid when it comes to dramas with magic and martial arts--I love those parts. XD

Now I know why the girl looks familiar. She's also the female lead in Il Mare. (Side comment: pics #4 and #5 give off a feel similar to Cyborg She.) Now I think I need to watch the movie; wasn't really interested before. Although even if it's good, it doesn't guarantee the same for the drama. I'll be looking forward to the remake's trailer though!

Those 10 rules rule! Rule # 10, I <3 you.

"TIP 6: Tend to her when she falls ill or get tended when you fall ill and make her feelings stronger
... And as she sleeps, you can watch her like a creepy stalker..."

Laughed my a** off! And yes, Tips #1 and #2 are No Fails, "Because all you need in life is money and a handsome husband." :D :D :D
