Been waiting a couple of days for Ep 33 to drop. iQiyi did not update on Friday and over the weekend. It kept on promoting Premium VIP. I'm gonna hold off watching until all four remaining episodes are released.
Haven't gotten back to watching this drama because honestly, it bored me. Not so stellar performance for ZLH here. Skip this and watch Princess Royal instead. Same FL and ML, and at least they have good interaction and a little 'depth' of character portrayal from ZLH.
First time noticing Deng Kai in Pursuit of Jade. Talk about intense!
The gaze and slight touch Qi Min gave Qianqian made the hair at the back of my head stand up. *shivers*
Still sizing him up (Qi Min), whether he's a good guy or a bad one. Not a fan of him bullying his son though but it does make him a good villain. I am so torn it's ridiculous. He's a good actor and I like him so bad. 😩
This was surprisingly good for a vertical drama. The chemistry between leads felt like a warm budding feeling until it became smoldering and passionate. Loved Liu Xiao Xu in this. He was supposed to be stoic in this. Oh, but when he loses it, his eyes and his face just says it all.More dramas like this, please!
I recommended this to my daughters after they had withdrawal symptoms from Boys II Planet.
And so I watched this along with them and we enjoyed it.
But weeks after, we find ourselves watching clips of the show. I watch Park Han x JL's duet over and over and it's not even a team performance. 🤦♀️BUT! I get goosebumps each and every time I watch it! What's even more surprising is that we watch Team Groove's power ballad performances over others.
My daughters have shifted from replaying Rising Sun in B2L to Prison in UL. (I personally like Only U and their cover of Missing You). And their #1 bias who didn't debut in UL was Kim Joo Hyoung. I thought everyone who performed in Only U deserved to debut (apart from the three who already did, of course), and then there were insane vocals in Missing You (Han, Joo Hyoung, Zen Zen, Kenta)!
BJT and ZJM's chemistry in this was a bonus to this thriller. Loved it! My only complain is the couple's romance didn't get a bit of airtime before it ended. Still, BJT felt so real here, he became so handsome in my eyes. LOL
This is the fourth drama I've seen him in. [New Life Begins, The First Frost, Destined, Reset] Among these four dramas, I saw some similarities in the characters he played in the first three. I guess the genre and focus is different in Reset so one can appreciate the leads as their own characters.
I need a breather but looking forward to watching Mobius already.
Three things I want to say about this:

Not for everybody.

I recently watched Love and Redemption and I am happy that scene wasn't cut when I watched it. Gotta love iQiyi. 🥰🥰🥰
