To Be honest I am one of the lurker here but I never commented on this post. To me the Legend of Shenli definitely creates a new standard for Xian xia genre in general. Thanks to Shenli Xian , xianxia is no longer associated with sad sobbing stories filled with so much breakdowns and twisted stupid misunderstanding between the leads . I am more than welcome the changes about two amazing grownups openly talking about their differences and bravely embracing their differences and resolve it like proper adults.

This show exceeded my expectations, I cried bucket load of tears because of the ending yesterday. This show is so so good and the acting of the main leads are amazing. Yang Zi and Xiao ZHAN chemistry is out of this world. Every time I watch them on screen I feel life I’m watching a real life couple dating , that shows how good they truly are💜. This show is not perfect but it’s imperfections is a clear depiction of the slice of life genre. I wish Yang Zi and Xiao ZHAN all the best ! I sincerely hope that they will have a photoshoot or another show together again.

I am one of the viewers who’s been waiting for this drama to be broadcast for 2 plus years. At first I was scared that this drama won’t live up to my expectations, but now I am super happy that it lives up to my expectations and more. I love how they portray a healthy relationship between the male and female lead . I like it that in this drama it is shown that in each problem in a couple’s life more often than not only caused by misunderstanding and misinformation that they could be blamed for respectively. I love to see how they grow as a couple , starting their love life by mutual respect and recognition. Both lead acted out their part very well. I love the ost too and so looked forward for the next episodes now .

I am wondering am I the only one who thinks that it is a bit outrageous that the ML and FL kept playing game nonstop and doing nothing? seemingly , they kept playing from 9 am to 9 pm. They are supposed to be a good actress and smart aerospace engineer respectively but why oh why it seems they have all the time in the world to play game nonstop 🙄

I think it is more than emotional overreactions. He and his fellow male writers called out on the female writers to be responsible for her own words to the point of harassing her and causing her to lose jobs deals; while he himself is not perfect too. He made a controversial statement too when he said his work only to be read by male ; therefore people asked him to be responsible for his own words too vice versa just like what he did to the female writers

I have finished watching this drama and I actually quite satisfied with the ending. The seven devils won the battle and tang San finally knew what Xiao Wu really is and accepted it in a heartbeat. The ending left many questions unanswered but at least it’s not a cliffhanger like Joy of life or Princess Agent. Tang San and Xiao Wu managed to get away from the baddies and that’s all that matters for this season. I am waiting for the next season . Fingers crossed it will come as soon as possible

Yes but this one is super problematic . It clearly has most one star reviews but suddenly it comes up with 7.1 rating . Like , heck where did all the one stars go ?

Tbh, I think there’s something wrong with douban. I see the rate, and I seee many one star reviews ; therefore I questioned this rate. Is it an honest rate or a pumped up one? ?
