They tend to release Pilots. They did this with LUTA, GBYFD, Beside the Sky, etc etc.... and lets not forget Happy Ending. For many reasons like to see if there's enough popularity for it or to receive fan feedback before starting a project.

When has WabiSabi ever done anything like you're talking about? It was there enough. To be talk about by most people. If this was Domundi the eps would be longer with more time for more things. 8 Episodes isn't long enough for that novel. So cuts had to be made and some things they couldn't film for obvious reasons.

"Where did the onsen scene go???" <-- it was short but it was there. about 16:30 into ep 7. Wasn't like in the novel but I didn't think it would be. I'd start it at Fah seeing Phoon's outfit tho so 13:54ish.

Missing out then. Also it's more of a sci-fi series, considering everything, they did a really good job with a censored adaption of a novel.

I just compare everything to Jack & Joker's Special Episode. Usually the endings seem better in comparison. But "The Wicked Game" seemed like a Soap Opera so they definitely pulled that off.

Firstly if you don't like something don't watch it.
Was this series a mess? Yes it was.
Also they are doing more shows with lakorn which a lot of people don't seem to get or understand. When was the last time you watched a realistic soap opera?

Watch something from Domundi/Mandee from this year. "The Next Prince" or the trending record breaker "Khemjira".

But above all remember to support the actors, crews, creators and everyone else involved in the production of these shows. Be kind. Don't just blindly watch it "cuz it's BL". Some of the Yaoi I've seen, heard even (BL Audio Dramas) out of Japan would KO those 99% you were talking about I'm sure. For most of those the side focus is the plot. lol

Yes. That's why if you watch the reaction vids on YT by the cast after watching it on iQiYi it looks slashed because it is. Domundi reaction vids blur out the iQiYi version scenes, but they don't cut out those parts. But I suppose if you've only seen the YT version you wouldn't notice the missing parts.

umm... as pointed out in the series he's a Shaman not a monk. So he could have a family like his Grandfather did. 1 of the 5 precepts of Buddhism is "Abstain from sexual misconduct: Do not engage in harmful or deceitful sexual behavior." Now in terms of the "handjobs" scene it's waiting for them to be ready to go further. There was actually an audio clip that was originally gonna play during the scene of them saying they'd do this for now until they were both ready. It was cut, but the one in charge of the audio had shared it on twitter and Keng retweeted it. Basically it's all explained in the series if you pay attention.

He met with them. I can't remember what episode. But I remember it happened. (I fell behind and had to catch up) The only parts I zone out during are the girls. He commented about how he doesn't drink. (Due to his drinking issue Muyu mentioned previously - 1 or a lot). There was drink throwing and freezing it was a thing.

I find it's best to ignore most comments. Most of them can't tell the difference between a character and an actor aka are Delulu. My BL starting point was Japan so I know it's best not to expect anything. I also don't like labels (top & bottom are labels). Or toxic so called "fanbases" (FYI: that's one of those IYKYK statements).

Namping did the "official" announcement on iJOY iQiYi TH today for the Special Episode.

Defiantly worth watching for Net In my completely unbiased opinion....

Boun & Jimmy for sure. A bunch of girls. Some more guys who's names apparently aren't that important to me. One very unexpected one near the end (which I won't say). Let me look at the cast list.... Nink, Jaa, Pang, Cartoon, Mark, Intanont. A feel like I may be missing someone.
If you're watching for Keng & Namping they are barely in it.

For plot reasons. I think I liked her better as a zombie tbh.

They did their zombie trap that they wanted to do with Aunty Jit, only with Non instead since he as injected with her blood. Anything passed that ? Anyone’s guess.

It's dropping Worldwide so your country has Netflix you'll be getting it.

Nope it's cool. I just think if things are explained it makes things better?
I actually liked the series and I'm super picky when it comes to vampire shows. lol
