Your analysis is so spot-on. I just left a friend a comment where I said something along the same line as you. We were making fun at how my husband and I sometimes just start fighting for no reason whatsoever and then we just burst out laughing when we realize that the argument was truly pointless. But that is also because we make it a point to be friends that can vent to each other first before being full blown responsible adults. Type and Tharn are open to venting to everyone but each other because they are afraid of burdening the other, well I believe the point of a relying on your other half is sometimes that they can help you carry half of burden even if it's just moral support. I feel that what their couple need other than sex is a really good argument, where they fight so hard that plates start flying.
