makjangs are better than this
this will annoy you, but tbh koreans were never really good at characterization to begin with. they only care about making it dramatic and heart pumping.once you get past that, it all seems really stupid.
however, i do recommend this only if you wanna watch something a bit lighthearted, but still packing like childish twists. it's pretty much a show for like 8th graders or 9th graders.
pretty cliched too with the script and the foreshadowing. oh well.

this became a part of my soul
i think everyone should watch this. at the very least, at least once. my mom watched it God knows how many. She cries every single time.I cry every time too. It's something you can't control, especially with this drama. I used to feel like japanese are weird, hence I would also think they couldn't act. But I was wrong. Everyone acts superb in this drama. In fact, japanese acting isn't all so different from what happens in real life.
this was a marvelous watch and thank I thank Allah subh'ana hu wa ta 'ala that this was made, Alh'amdulillah

it really hits the feels
you must watch this. you have to watch this. everyone should watch this.the japanese really know how to stop time, metaphorically speaking. japanese dramas always make me forget about the world. it's amazing.
this drama is no less. honestly. it's probably just a step away from feeling like a reality show. the story pacing was spectacular. too perfect, i'd say.

needs a more purposeful plot
the production, the acting, it's all amazingthe director was surperb
however, this story isn't really complicated. it's a drama so sentimental, you'll remember everything and you won't want to rewatch it again. but regardless, it does deserve a first watch. most definitely.
the one thing i don't like is when story writers use other people's content in quotes. this show quotes and credits from literature sometimes, and i honestly think that's cheap storytelling/foreshadowing.
the pacing of this show was amazing though. every episode felt like i was watching a movie.

story drags on
this drama needs better and more creative dialog. that's all i'll say. it really feels like this drama was made for my grandma to watch. although it does get me hooked at times, but come on they definitely could do better than this. i guess this is the curse of family shows. did i mention cliff hangers? but then again, that's expected news anyway.Was this review helpful to you?
