Well, you also have to be careful of your blood pressure. The fact that many sweet and vital moments were cut (probably because of censorship) can make you really enraged, so be careful with your blood pressure.
While I am upset that many scenes in UL was cut, I also feel grateful because UL was able to pass censorship in the first place. After all, it would be worse if this drama was shelved... I mean, love between an eunuch and a consort is quite a sensitive topic.
This reminds me that Chen Yuqi and Wang Yibo actually have a drama together, filmed in 2017, but for some reason it was never aired... I was actually hoping to watch that drama, because the genre is xianxia but the setting is modern. Sounds like an interesting premise.
Too bad that drama will most likely never be aired, T T.
Anyways, just glad that I can watch UL, even tho some, I mean, many, scenes are cut...

Yess... In Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre she was really, really good. I have to admit that I fell in love with her because of her role in that movie. Intelligent, charming, and cunning too.
The story is boring. FL is obviously a very good actress. ML is stunning. But there is no chemistry between them…
I have to (respectfully) disagree. I feel like the FL and ML have really great chemistry. They click well together and their intelligence matches well. Their comedic timing is impeccable, and when they look at each other, I can feel their love through the screen. There were moments when I had to scream because they looked too cute together.
I can't think of anyone who can replace the two or any other actor/actress that would've been more suitable.
a) It was the writer's fault for being inconsistent, or
b) This will be important in later episodes.
