News cliche done right
yess it give the same cliche as the old kdramas but all in the right way possible.
the narcissistic ml who is a workaholic maniac and the fl full of life and light. both are struggling with their own problems and stumbled a upon each other like it's all destined to happen.
situation arises when one absolutely need the other and the story continues.
however in this drama, the spark between the two is not something one should take it lightly 'cause it's literally important. the fl had spark with everyone else except the ml.
and the absolute BEST part? no toxic angst. no 15-year-old childhood trauma secret tearing them apart in episode 8. no annoying miscommunications. it’s just pure, unadulterated fluff, romance, and comedy that has me smiling ear to ear like an absolute idiot at my screen at 3 AM.
the drama is so self-aware too?? it knows exactly what it is. it looks at every overused rom-com trope, and executes it so flawlessly that you can't even be mad. it’s a 2016 throwback delivered in the best way possible.
