Yeah, I feel a bit this way too, and it does seem like Jiangchen doesn't change much in the future episodes either if we're to go by the teasers. I mean, truthfully a character like this wouldn't be too bad if so many other male leads weren't exactly the same. (But to be fair, I don't dislike his character; it just would be more interesting if he were a little different or if he was given some more depth).
Also when they're older! There was a teaser which was of them when they were older.
