Goblin S2 anyone ^^?
Goblin is my all time favorite! Everything about this show is just pure unadulterated entertainment! Lets not forget the beautiful visuals that is Kim Go Eun and Gong Yoo! Amazing chemistry from beginning till end. Stellar cast, amazing storyline, melodious music that makes this one of a kind show. The concept is so outstanding you cant help but cheer for everyone. Character growth especially for main cast comes in at the right pace and stays with you. Not to include any spoliers but KGE can make you laugh and giggle but also make you cry like a baby. Im so glad Kim Eun-sook picked KGE and Gong Yoo for main leads. Was this review helpful to you?

LOVE YUMI
Absolutely love it! Yumi's character development along with some of the other characters is done so beautifully that by S2 I felt I knew each of them so well and cared deeply. Hats off to Kim GoEun. Honestly, I started watching show because of her and she did not let us down at all. She is so mesmerizing I felt her all her emotions be it frustration, struggles, happiness, despair. The animation, omg kudos to the entire animation studio. Such a phenomenal job! And especially voice actors! My fav cells Reason, love, foodie and lust. I laughed and cried with all of them. Im sad it ended but the ending was perfect. Subtle and impactful! Don't be persuaded by negative comments about the ending, can't have typical cliche endings so boring. And for that I loved this even more! Congratulations KGE for the award, well deserved and more!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Untapped KGenre
This show certainly had my curiosity from the day of its infancy. Mainly because I was excited about the power duo Kim Eun-sook and Kim Go Eun (Goblin) possibly repeating history with their charm. It wasnt a let down. MinHo did a fair job for what the role demanded im sure but it wasnt the first time him being a rich guy so that felt a tiny bit flat. Kim Go Eun was the saving grace for me in the show. I loved the concept, new and refreshing if I must say. I was getting bored of rich poor CEOs and damsel in distress scenarios that KDrama has way too often. What I failed to understand is how was this show not a great success in Korea when they claim to love Inception movie and all science fiction action genre but this, this was hard to fathom?

Short but impactful
In few words this was on current affairs. It showcased the intensity of emotions of two characters at the time of such unprecedence. Being quarantined was something we all experienced and to see it from others perspective felt so relatable. Soo-jin played by KGE is done very beautifully. Kim Joo Heon did a great job as well. I liked when they showed the couple together and how they miss the special moments they once shared. Pandemic brought up a sea of emotions for us all and the main leads were no different. I wish this was a full feature film but it was nonetheless a short master piece. Was this review helpful to you?

This Drama Hooked Me—And It’s Not Just Another Revenge Plot
I absolutely loved this drama from start to finish. Aside from *The Double*, this is one of the rare dramas I watched entirely for the compelling plot and the brilliant female lead. While it begins with the familiar "family betrayed by politics and the emperor, must seek vengeance" storyline, it quickly evolves into something much deeper and more engaging.Landy Li delivers a stunning performance as the lead—her character remains remarkably level-headed throughout, which was refreshing. What stood out most was the beautifully paced development of the main couple’s relationship. Their mutual understanding grows gradually, naturally, and meaningfully. I’m not usually a fan of the “love at first sight” trope, but here, it felt genuinely right and perfectly placed.
Ao Rui Peng, the male lead, is equally captivating—supportive, never disrespectful (even during moments of suspicion), and fully invested in his partner. Together, they form a power couple who lift each other up in every way.
The side plots and cases are intelligently crafted, too. I’ve always been curious about how forensics worked before fingerprinting and modern technology, and this show does a brilliant job of exploring that—without ever feeling dragged out.
The ending felt just right. Without a doubt, this drama ranks in my top 10 C-Dramas of all time.
