Title Crazy Love
Although Crazy Love was a very entertaining K-drama (up to episode 11) and the acting of all the actors and actresses…
If you keep watching, you’ll learn why he said what he did at the end of Ep 11.

In Ep 9, Yu-seop (the male employee) tells Ryan he’s getting a new car because the lease on the first one has ended. The plate numbers on the two cars are different.

Their “break-up” actually only lasted one ep. It happened at the end of Ep 8 and the woodshop scene was at the end of Ep 9.

i was wondering too... maybe it's his personal choice and he wants to take some time off
He’s actually currently starring on stage in Amadeus while also shooting Secret Gratitude. Last year, he starred in a stage musical while he was simultaneously shooting both Melo Movie and Dear Hongrang; I went to Seoul to see his musical and was lucky enough to meet him and he said he was tired but very happy.

And he’s always said that he chooses the roles that are most interesting to him, regardless of whether they’re leading or supporting. I just wish the PTB would offer him lead roles that actually pique his interest!

Yet another supporting role for Kim Jae-uck.😢 SK needs to stop sleeping on him and cast him as a first lead asap! (He’s always said he chooses the roles that are most interesting to him, regardless of whether they’re lead or supporting characters, so producers/directors need to start offering him more interesting ML roles!)

On Dear Hongrang May 17, 2025
I’ve always known that Kim Jae-uck is a versatile actor but it’s incredible to think that he was shooting Dear Hongrang at the same time that he was doing Melo Movie and also starring in the stage musical Pagwa.

From an interview in the current issue of Singles Magazine:

“Q: It must have been an extreme schedule, really?

A: ‘It really was. (Laughs) I would film on set until late at night, then fly to the airport, go to the countryside to film Melo Movie, then fly back up the next day to perform in the musical, and repeat that endlessly. I just poured everything into filming and on stage. It was really hard, but I was really happy.’”

Also, the bad guy is pretty much obvious from the beginning. Why else would you cast Kim Jae Wook lolol idk which…
Kim Jae-uck’s also really good as an exorcist priest in The Guest but he’s a versatile actor who’s also good at comedy and romance. If you like rom-coms, I highly recommend Her Private Life, Crazy Love, and Coffee Prince (a classic that was before its time), as well as a quirky indie film called Antique.

This show is all about PMY showing off sexy clothes and shoes
Really? Even though she primarily wears pantsuits, modest dresses and skirts that aren’t nearly as tight as her WWWSK pencil skirts, and sweats?

Have you seen the skimpy outfits she wears in Love in Contract? And in Marry My Husband, she sometimes wears revealing clothing that’s tighter and shorter than anything she wears in HPL, as well as stilettos that are much higher than her HPL pumps.

Title Her Private Life Spoiler
What's that about? Can you give me a spoiler. I am in the middle of deciding whether to watch this drama or not.
In Ep 1, the FL’s best friend (a woman) tells the ML about a person she likes but doesn’t get to see very often. (She’s referring to an idol they’re crushing on.) The ML later sees the FL and bestie hugging and mistakenly deduces that they’re in a lesbian relationship. He then spends a few eps trying to protect the FL and help her keep her “secret.”

The ML is the greenest of green flags, they have one of the swooniest, healthiest relationships in K-Drama Land, and their chemistry is ❤️‍🔥, with tons of realistic kisses and physical affection. I recommend it highly if you like rom-coms.

Review Melo Movie
Kim Jae-uck has always said that he chooses the roles that are most interesting to him, regardless of whether they’re leading or supporting. He’s not in it for fame or money but because he loves acting, which is why he’s done a lot of indie films and theatre projects. (I’m glad he does theatre because I actually got to meet him when I went to Seoul last year to see him in a musical.)

For example, after Coffee Prince, he received many ML offers for dramas but he chose to play a gay pâtissier in Antique, a quirky indie film co-starring Ju Ji-hoon and Yoo Ah-in.

It’s admirable that he prioritizes his values and happiness over industry and societal expectations, but this has resulted in him being very underrated, especially because he tends to fly under the radar in between projects.

His next drama’s dropping in May—Dear Hong Rang, a sageuk starring Lee Jae-wook and Jo Bo-ah—but sadly for us, it is yet another supporting role. One reason he’s doing it may be his friendship with the director as they worked together previously on Voice and The Guest.

It can be frustrating being his fan as we’d love nothing more than to see him take the lead in more high-profile projects. I really hope his next project is as first lead because he’s much too talented and charismatic to be relegated to supporting roles.

The ML’s brother is played by Kim Jae-uck, who’s been in many dramas worth watching, including Her Private Life, Crazy Love, The Guest, Death’s Game, and Voice.

Title Melo Movie
A charming, cute and beautiful story. I loved the actors they were so likeable and I didn’t expect for Kim Jae…
Kim Jae-uck’s a very versatile actor. He’s great in Her Private Life and Crazy Love, which are both rom-coms.
