There are hundreds of BLs out there, and they all have different genres and storytelling styles. Being disappointed because it’s “Wattpad-written” doesn’t really seem like valid criticism. It sounds more like a matter of personal preference.
You Maniac has a simple plot. They never promised a complex one from the start. As long as they execute it properly and logically within the series’ setting, I think it’ll be fine.
Unless you can point out something genuinely awful about its technical aspects or something wrong with the characters’ behavior, then disliking the series simply because it’s not your preferred type of story is also a form of bias. 🙂
