Daily dramas are like a variation on the same theme.

I don't know if you've noticed, but most daily dramas have a food theme.

Nope! She got framed and sent to prison within the first 18 episodes and we will now experience a time jump so she can be released and start her revenge.

It's a daily drama. They are usually all the same - variation of the same theme......always! This is where drama writers begin. They will use all the tropes they can, and that is exactly the case here. It stars leads that I'm not aware of, but found out that they have good reputations, but don't work that often. I used to blame the daily dramas for sucking me into their vortex, but i have decided to stop doing that. I like watching them sometimes. They can be very entertaining. This drama didn't shortstop with using so many tropes in its first 18 episodes. Now I'm in for the long haul -- thank goodness there is 1 episode a day. Can't wait to see the story unfold and find out how Dal Nim is going to get back at everyone for sending her to prison. Sure, I'll moan and I'll groan and I'll curse at her for her stupidity and naivete, but part of the scenario is watching her grow and learn and become smarter than those around her who want to wreak havoc in her life. So far I'm enjoying it, so I will stick with it. That violin music tho at the most melodramatic moments makes me howl with laughter! I usually describe daily dramas as being "so bad, they're good!"

What a phenomenal actress! She just embodies every character she plays.

Just finished ATOTSY. Great drama and she and Zhu Ya Wen made their roles so believable!

He is definitely smexy, TroubleMcTrouble. One of my drama senpai's (because she counsels me on all things Japanese) and I both agreed that he was rockin' those navy blue dress pants, white shirt and getas! Not many people can pull that off.....lol

You thoughts are spot on except I accepted the explanation regarding her boss. He said he was interested at one time, but decided not to pursue her. Maybe he noticed that she had lots of issues, so he decided on friendship rather than romance. Don't know if he would have gotten the romance anyway. I wholeheartedly agree regarding any romance for Guan Guan. I was kinda shipping her with the "hot doc." Don't know why they dropped the ball on that one. They even gave Ying Ying romance at the very end...then we see Guan Guan sitting in he room all alone. Yeah, so stereotypical having the quiet girl with the round glasses sitting home alone with her parents! :/

Thanks, Gea. Just watched Otoko no Isshou last night and fell hard for Toyokawa Etsushi. Now I'm on the hunt for all of his dramas and movies.

She stole Love Cuisine from the lead actress. Definitely main lead material.

It was right up there as one of my favorite fight scenes, but some of my drama friends keep telling me to watch the fight scenes in "Bad Buys." I''ve yet to do it. I loved the father and son fight scene in "City Hunter" and Holyland had some great fight scenes, but my favorite was the "fight in the mud" scene in Rough Cut. Nothing better than So Ji-sub and Kang Ji-wan fighting......in the mud.....breathless......bloody.....okay, I'll stop now.....lol
