they took a great show, chose one of the best themes (time travel) and milked it. all is time travel now, unnecessarily filled with blood, and all is so dull 😐 the members are fine, its the new director and production team that failed.
true, but its more like: since we're TOO familiar with him, we can see through his acting, that was my case - same thing with Lee Si Eon. i think they leave their long tv shows because of that but TOO late.
i guess they wanted mandarin pronunciation to be clear enough for chinese-speaking audiences and free of accent, on the other hand FL french and english words were very accented 🤷🏼♂️

'portrayal' applies to fictional too - The events are fictional, but the 'Ming Empire' was real. It wouldn’t be fully fictional unless they gave it another name.
