I'm on ep 21, and so far so good, the plot isn't something we haven't seen before, but HMH and LYX carry it to the next level, I cannot see anyone replacing these 2, you need excellent chemistry to carry out their roles, or it falls flat. I know a lot of people say chemistry this or chemistry that for a lot of dramas, but the chemistry and their delivery really carries. Not a fan of both of them or anything just stating what I see.
I love the Mulan trope and the trope of your enemy being right under your nose. If you haven't watched the Chinese drama "Are you the one," and you loved this, I highly recommend it. The setting is similar but not wuxia. The ML thinks his enemy is a man and takes in his wife, who has memory loss, not knowing that his actual enemy is actually his wife, who sleeps next to him at night.
I love that about him, he's not playing around with anyone and seems very straight forward. Thats how he earned…
I'm curious tho, do you think a lot of celebrities in C-ent have plastic surgery? I feel like they don't because people will notice right? It seems like something that would be more popular in K-ent
C-ent, it seems that they just lose a lot of weight and get fit to change to look better.

He Yu might be one of the few if not only actors that are cooler than their characters. I personally think he's cooler than Zhao Zhao. I expected him to be so dorky and not look like that at all but he's so cool!
He probably had a mini rebrand. The dorkiness is still there tho. I'm sure he just shows that side to his friends. Having your own style and hobbies feels like you have a sense of self, he's not doing or acting like what they tell him to do, if you get what I mean.
Speaking of friends, I saw a clip of him being swarmed by fans at his restaurant (so weird) after they got in, one of his friends legit put his head out the car to take a picture of the crowd probably to send to the GC. He looked like he was laughing 🤣
I'm watching my fated boy rn, and if I were He Yu's friend, I would pull clips from that drama every week, he's so cute and silly there. A huge contrast to his vibe now
I can't stop giggling after watching SAL..... AAAAAAA idkwtd....
Girl don't get me started, I usually watch edits and stuff and get over characters once the show finishes airing. But I keep smiling anytime I watch a video of He Yu. and the fact that he's cooler in real life 😩

Another thing is that he's 6'0 but looks shorter because Esther is tall 🤣
