There is another parallel I've been thinking of in ep4 Pran sees Ink buying orange drinks, less sweet for Pat. In ep9 he buys drinks for him and Pat, and Pat says drink is sweet, but Pran answers that he got less sweet drinks. In ep4 there's also a throwback where Pran buys drinks for him and Pat but never gives him because he noticed Pat flirting with Ink.
