It's not translated to English, sadly. If you look up the Japanese name, there's an ebook in Japanese at animatebookstore.
It was actually pretty good when i tried. I binged the whole thing in 2 nights. Lol

could not have said it better myself 😂 but sadly the thing with the beds is a real thing in Japan.🥲 I don’t…
Same, I really hope they move on soon. Glad I'm not the only one who finds Fujisawa unnervingly controlling. It seems like every episode reveals new ways he's kept Sei isolated and I'm worried about how he'll respond to Sei leaving to meet up with Hagiwara.

Well, that part with the beds so far apart was probably Kaori not wanting Hagiwara to get any ideas, I think. Since she's avoiding sex with him. And with Sei and Fujisawa, Sei already stated that they're not in a relationship, and they're just friends and roommates.

Oh, the translation is actually a little off. She literally said his male parts turn her off, so I thought she might be a lesbian who hasn't realized it yet or is trying to be what she thinks is a "normal" woman. When I lived in Japan a lot of my queer friends ended up pressured into marriage by parents/family.

Oh, a lot of people sleep better in their own beds because their partners snore or toss and turn.

anybody know where to read the novel or manga?
It's not in English, but if you're willing to try machine translation the Japanese ebook is available at animatebookstore .com

Wow, any_anka, you described my thoughts on the series perfectly. I'm currently enjoying series with assassins, spies, gangsters, and all sorts of morally questionable characters, but that doesn't mean I condone those actions. I find shows more interesting with morally complicated characters. I actually really love that this series depicted the main character's partners as neither saints nor villains--they're all just people who fail to communicate and should probably move on.
