I'm excited for what he have upcoming and what he signs on for in the future! I love the more mature and serious roles in modern and costume dramas for him. I had a hard time finishing his earlier modern romance dramas.

I usually drop the drama as soon as the ML becomes a simp. I can't believe the amount of dramas where the ML chases the FL and is always at fault when she cheats or purposely do things with other men in front of the ML. Or FL does something that is unforgivable in the real world yet ML is the one who apologizes to get her back.

I loved GJ character in Rising with the Wind because he was a more gray character than the typical green flag ML.

If it follows TBOY then AHZ should not be a bad ending since they both are in TBOY. Ending is in TBOY.

That'll be interesting to find out. I just figured that maybe the dramas didn't stray far off from the novel.

Is the novel much more interesting than the donghua? I'm hoping to find it to read. I'm invested now because SMY was my favorite assassin in TBOY and GJ is just my favorite all around.

I haven't read the novel but if you watch TBOY, they're both in there as well.

I'm hoping that SMY in AHZ follows the same as TBOY and DY. The SMY in the donghua is much too kind. I want some dark assassin vibe which the promo clip when they started filming gave. We will have to wait for trailers to see!!

I can't wait to see CHS play SCH!!! SCH is a total badass!! I love that they are total opposites but I am hoping for a slightly darker SMY in the drama compared to the anime. I did like how SMY was portrayed in TBoY and now just waiting to see SMY in DY.

It was tough for me but I managed to finish it for ZLH.

Heavily political and more talking than action was what dragged for me. You could understand the entire storyline by watching the last 7-10 episodes. ML was more 2ML than 2ML was. ML role didn't feel significant to the story. Acting from 2ML was really good.

Finished watching the anime and am enjoying it so far. Waiting for new eps to be released. I'm assuming the drama will be based mostly on the novel since the anime isn't completely out yet?

Does anyone who is familiar with the manhua or donghua know why Fu Gui doesn't have the pure divine flames dongfang blood?and why he took his father's last name but DFYC took his mom's?

I hope after this, he does more costume dramas. He looks beautiful in costume and fighting scenes. I will support him in what he chooses but I can't get over how 🔥 he looks in costume!

I liked his character in TBoY so I hope they keep that vibe in DY and An He Zhuan.

He's def passive in the anime. He doesn't come off as an assassin in the anime but I've seen him in TBOY and he is caring towards his family and Dark River.

SMY also shows up in Dashing Youth so I'm excited to see how his character is played in DY!
