Zha Jie and Zhu Jian are a couple in real life, and I really think their chemistry is off the charts. I watched season 2 first. Other people have mentioned it's been censored, and that Viki also had to cut scenes in order to stream.

I started watching this before I knew bl was associated with it, which happens to be my favorite genre. I'm at episode 8; the romance is implied, but real. You probably also have to like wuxia, and cool guys with swords. I think the hair and costumes are top notch.
