Is there any other drama with same kind of humour and comedy. If so please recommend.
Itâs a movie not a drama, âsecrets in the hot springâ. Also Taiwanese supernatural comedy, main lead has similar personality. The deadpan humour is also very similar
For people who like this kind of genre, thereâs a Taiwanese âsupernaturalâ comedy film called âsecrets in the hot springâ, which is quite similar to this show in terms of humour and character personality (esp the male lead), quite heartwarming as well. Recommended! It should be on Netflix .
lol i'm watching crossfire and only after 20+ episodes I realised the actor who plays Nezha with the crazy hair in xiao bei (WL)'s team is Ah Qi in LLTG. I'm so glad I finished the show before this realisation because I can't take ah qi seriously anymore lollll
He gave it away in an earlier episode to protect CSS who created a fake one to help the Crown Princess. He replaced…
Exactly, and I realised that when he saved her at the tower, it was technically unnecessary. He was at the meeting himself with the 3rd Prince and Marquis yue.
Could have been better if they only add 1 or 2 episodes and aired more lately. For me, from first episode till…
Honestly, I think they just tried to find fast ways for the ML to be the hero in order to redeem his mistake. And rushed ending. No other way to explain the loopholes, really. I personally think that the storyline after 5 years was bad writing.
Question about the Tiger seal: why did LBY have to keep and use the seal lost by the crown Prince during his revenge? Didn't he previously have a similar Tiger seal that was from the Huo family?
he burns bridges everywhere he goes, i think being associated with him will only get you killed considering how many enemies he would have lol. someone like that is impossible to get along with in society.
I cannot stop admiring the cinematography of this show, it's so beautiful and shot like a movie. CGI and the weird beauty filter in historical cdramas can be quite ridiculous sometimes and take me out of the story but this show was mesmerizing. The shot of CSS riding a horse in her bridal gown to save LBY was really the highlight of the show for me (even though it was kind of pointless plotwise but let's ignore that). I really appreciate how the director and crew put in a lot of heart into this show. Sadly we were robbed of great OSTs which could have become classics that accompanied this series.
Did anyone else think that the « I trust Shaoshang » thing in the last episode was out of character for LBY?From…
I thought of the exact same things when I was watching the show! It was so baffling that CSS fell into the same trap twice after 5 years, like it was some kind of character regression for someone who's supposed to be smart and independent. I think they just wanted to create problems for the male lead to show how much he loved her and was willing to die for her so that CSS and we as audience will be able to forgive what he did. Sadly it was at the expense of the FL's intelligence, turning her into a usual damsel in distress. I do think that the storyline after the 5 years went downhill and was really rushed, otherwise it would have been amazing.
So when LBY's aunt died, he was already planning on seeking revenge without implicating CSS, which was why he didn't want to tell her the truth when they were in front of the altar. So then why make a pact? What was the point of the bite marks if he wasn't going to keep his promise anyway?
I feel the same way. In the scene where CSS was crying, I found his acting a little bit off. When he is supposed…
yes, for some reason i really liked ZLS's acting here! her emotional scenes are so immersive, like even when lby was being punished was pretty much just a joke, she managed to make it incredibly heartbreaking. She feels very natural overall
