So glad Mnet beat (just barely, touched, not even a touch) the "No.1 is always Korean." Deserved it for sure. So happy he made it. Just hoping he doesn't get hate from k-nets. Rank 2: Sung Hanbin One of my favorites from the start. Was I surprised he wasn't no.1? Yeah since to me he was who I thought would be center (all the ranking, center in theme song, etc) but I'm not mad. I'm so glad MOTHER is in the line-up and he deserves all the love. One of the most talented trainees for sure, I still watch his audition from time to time. Rank 3: SEOK MATTHEW MY ONE PICK. The reason why I started Boys Planet. I saw his sister tiktok and was like "hmm maybe I'll check him out". His "GIRL" got me hooked and he became my one-pick right there. After his evil editing and pd pick rumors, he got so much hate esp on twitter so i was scared if he would make the line-up. I was thinking he would rank 8-9 but rank 3 makes me so happy. LETS GO SEOK MATTHEW!!! Rank 4: Ricky WTFFF. I DIDNT NoT EXPECT HIM AT ALL. Ricky is one of my FAVORITE. His S.Korea one-pick is super low so I was expecting rank 9 or maybe not making it into the line-up. But his international one-pick is huge. So glad we got "Young and Rich, Tall and Handsome, Charisma Boss Ricky." Rank 5: Park Gunwook Woahhh. I was really surprised he made it to the final line-up. Park Gunwook was a trainee who I hoped made the final line-up but was unsure if he would make it (due to his ranking). I'm glad he made it. All the Wild Idol training paid off. Rank 6: Kim Taerae Not surprised that he made it. Huge one-pick in S.Korea and pretty popular internationally. Glad he's part of the line up as he has an amazing voice. Some live comments were also hating as well. He may not your one pick but he's someone else's one-pick. Rank 7: Kim Gyuvin Lowkey thought he would make it as he as a HUGE one-pick in S.Korea. The live comments were not it tho. People hate to hear it but Kim Gyuvin is not a dozen/untalented. He can dance very well, great sp, and his vocals/rap is decent but definitely does not make him a dozen. Rank 8: Kim Jiwoong I was shocked. He's never ranked out of Top 5. But I'm happy he made it into the final after all the stuff that he went through earlier in his idol career. Rank 9: Han Yujin Makes sense it was Han Yujin. Actually I thought he would much higher tho around rank 3-4. Wasn't one of my picks but I understand why people like him/is their one-pick. He has probably one of the highest one-pick in S.Korea. The hate he got in the live comments was disgusting and I'm glad those people are refusing to stan.
Who I thought would make it/would've been a nice addition but didnt make it: Jay: would've been a nice addition to the "Global" part of thr groups and a stable vocalist. Keita: also would've contributed to the "Global" part alot. His rap would've been game changing. I'm actually really sad he didn't make it. ZeroBaseOne lacks a good rapper. Yoo Seungeon: would've been nice with his vocals for sure
In the end, am I satisfied? Yeah as I think everyone in Top 18 deserved to debut. Would I have been happier if 1-2 where different trainees? Yeah but it doesn't mean I'm not happy with the final line-up. Will I be stanning? Most likely as I've spent 2-3months on this program/group. Either way I'm not saying people can't be unhappy/unsatisfied with the line-up. Just hoping people don't go hating just because their one-pick did not make it. There are also people who say "A Global Group with no/barely Global trainees?" Forget that half the K-Group trainees have a huge one-pick internationally as well ex. Also Kim Kyuhyun and Haesol treating Ivan and Lingqi like sht. Could be evil edited but it doesnt seem so. When Kim Kyuhyun said "study korean" my jaw dropped. And when Haesol said "all the foreigners took all the parts" as if they (Ivan and Lingqi) didnt have some of the least parts? I like how Ivan confronted them about their attitude but they said it was out of nervousness? Feels like am excuse. I also liked how Ivan said Daniel did pretty good for only learning to dance for 2 months. Kim Wooseok seems so nice tho actually trying to communicate with Ivan. The situations that were aired feel extremely bad and I think its going to heavily affect international viewers if they keep it up.

I really really disliked K-Soul's attitude in ep 3. I did like him in the first 2 eps but in ep 3, idk if it was evil edited or not but I really did not like it. He had the Killing Part and tried to take parts from others because he lost his rap part which did not suit him? I felt bad for Mingeun. I also agree when the vocal mentor said he shouldnt say all this parts were taken away/he had no parts and if he (K-Soul) thought that way he should go solo. Also found out he may have lied about his age and did ca? In We Are Young 2020, it says he was born in 1998 but in Fantasy Boys it says 2000? Idk seems so weird. Giving the benefit of the doubt but i dont think itll last much longer.
Honestly don't know how I feel about episode 3. It surely made me see certain trainees differently from episode 1-2, in a good and bad light. My 12 votes have changed so much for sure. The mentors feel basically useless(?), their feedback contradict alot with ep 1-2. The whole program feels very choppy to me and I wasnt a fan of the visual voting thing(?). Dont understand why that was the method to choose the songs. I guess they tried to be different (unless that happened in S1, which i didnt watch). Hoping it gets better or I'll probably drop it.
He's such a good actor and has some of the most expressive eyes. It's actually so sad that he isn't well known. I'm hoping he'll get a break out role soon!
The way ZPE and GQF understand each other and communicate is such a breath of fresh air in Chinese period dramaland and I hope it stays this way. Also the chemistry between LYF and CX is off the charts, I'm literally giggling at their scenes!
I don't think I will be able to get over Fu Heng's character. Still cant believed he died!!! I really needa a Wu Jin Yan and Xu Kai drama or at least something ???? (theres Zhao Ge but still...!!)
Gawd this drama has so many heartbreaking scenes! But the most heartbreaking for me is probably when Mu Ci died in Liu Ying's arms on their wedding night. I couldn't stop bawling my eyes. Still can't get over it. Probably wont be able to get over this drama for a while
