Yes, he did that for a few years. But starting in this drama, he started taking them back. That is why both in Forever & Ever and The Blue Whisper, he has kissing scenes in them.

I actually really enjoyed Blue Whisper. I watched it 4 times since I really love the story. I'm actually very surprised he has a lot of kissing scene in Blue Whisper. Though I hope he will kiss his costars like the kissing scenes he did in The Glory of Tang Dynasty lol

The leads weren't dumb at all. They are actually very clever in scheming and defeating the bad guys. Sometime, I always wonder if we are watching the same thing when I read MDL comments lol.

And the 2nd couple were not forced to a bad end. The 2FL cant have a happy ending due to censorship. She also committed a mass murder at the ML's sect and they need to make her take responsibility for that by losing her martial arts at the end as a punishment. Every action have their own consequences.

And I think you must be new viewers since a lot of Wuxia dramas do not have kissing scenes. Heck, lots of Cdramas do not have kissing scenes even when there is 'love' in the title or the couples are married in the drama. Its is nothing new to be honest. 😅

One of the best wuxia in recent years. The whole 45 episodes are interesting and I didn't fast forward any scene. The main couple are very cute together.

You gonna love the romance in this since she is his wife and they have a daughter together. I'm usually like you but this one was written excellently that I ended up really liking the romance beside the main plot.

I wish more Kdramas are like this. Showing power couple that work together. This show is very impressive!

Scarlet Heart Ryeo is so poorly written with terrible plots and editing and not to mention a list of very frustrating characters that didnt behave like normal human beings that I couldnt help myself but asking how can this big budgeted show with star stellar casts even get a greenlight with such a terrible script. So no, I dont hate myself enough to want a 2nd season of it if they decided to do one. :( The only good thing about the show is Lee Junki portrayal as Wang So.
