for real? we're already on episode 12, more 4 to end this show and everyone seems to know the FL's secret but…
This should've been a 12 ep show. They went in circles for the past few eps and we only got some type of development in this ep. I can excuse her not remembering the doc cause even I'm bad at remembering faces (lol) but they should've just revealed her secret to ML in this ep itself. Dragging it too much.
Really hoping to see the FML win this divorce and the husband and mistress both get ruined on the process, I am…
That line made me think that maybe she's also doing it to kinda one-up(?) CEK. Gave me you are my boss, a famous public person, etc. etc. but I'm the one sleeping with your husband kind of vibes. It's like she got a kick out of saying that. Don't know if she's jealous of CEK and did it or because she genuinely just likes the husband but whatever it is, things ain't gonna go well for her.
I consider her more frustrated than rude and obnoxious. It's truly sad that a person has been taking the same…
No, not saying it's a reason to slap someone. Generally when a character questions if they're dreaming, they would slap or pinch themselves. This just tried to take the viewers by surprise and show something comedic. It was not meant to be taken seriously but I can see why one wouldn't like it. There's not much logic in these shows. For eg: how does she get a job when she doesn't even have an ID?
I love the mother-daughter relationship of FL and the sauna owner. Not their relationship exactly but the way the writers wrote it because dramas generally have the cliche of the FL having to "listen to" and "follow" whatever the "mother" says in this kind of a situation. But here it's different.
The mom isn't the step mom type where the FL has no choice but to do the con/listen to her/ has no backbone and won't stand up for herself because of whatever reason (the reason is generally annoying to the viewers). Rather Da Hae is also able to call it quits. The mom is thinking about what's monetarily beneficial for them/her.
Don't get me wrong, I hate the mom. But this type of writing where insurance is what the mom benefits out of the FL has helped FL be written and developed in a different (better and more independent?) manner.
There is a main story arc with Insurance estimator. Something happen to his wifeHe wont drive rides a bike and…
Now that I think about it, here's a wild theory: ML's father (a high ranking politician) disapproved of their marriage and caused the "accident". It's a bit of a cliche and as it happened 10 years back I don't think it could work but just putting this out here lol.

I think he was driving and then in a car accident with his wife that led to her dead. That's why Captain Jung asked if the father in law didn't resent him but father in law says he was a victim too. Captain Jung could've been the cop involved in that case or someone who worked in the father in law's team. And ig the accident was never simply just an accident which could be the main story arc.
Psychopath diary, Strangers from hell and Flower of evil are the ones I can remember from the top of my head.
Psychopath diary was on my list for a long time. Seeing ur rec I went and watched the first ep. Imagine my surprise seeing Park Sung Hoon as the psychopath when I just binged The Glory while waiting for Queen of Tears lol.
Alternate storyline: Ji Han finds out about the contract relationship when he sleeps over at Ah Jeong's. So he also finds out that his brother is gay. They have a falling out. Mid drama could've focused on Ji Han and Do Han understanding each other's povs. (Instead of all the loops they went in the middle part of the drama). Then he accepts it and joins the team. Ji Han and Ah Jeong continue falling for each other but cannot express or hang out together because they have reporters tailing them and the siblings are trying their best to find their weaknesses. Second conflict point could be for the siblings to find out about this arrangement and Do Han's secret and exposing them. And the whole grandpa plot (idk about this though, haven't watched the eps).
back when it was first airing, i saw a lot of people in love with this drama, but now i rarely hear from anyone…
They do end up falling for each other but in ep 9 Ji Han says let's focus on ourselves and they go on a trip TT. There's so much going on, he doesn't even the truth about their arrangement and I expected Ah Jeong to come clean (that their wedding is fake) at least at that point. But the whole thing just felt very poorly done. There were so many ways they could've tackled the issues and brought about conflict points but it really just fell apart.
Basic points that frustrated viewers were - him trying to steal his brother's fiance (this was something I could ignore) but it just kept adding up from here. They were spending time together in public when he's from a chaebol family and they KNOW that reporters and secretaries have been tailing them.
It's just a mess. The story is all over the place. Wasted potential for a well-written female lead because she starts out really good.

It's just the absurdity that did it for me. I like rom coms and suspend belief to a very large extent so the initial premise was not something that bothered me. From what I noticed, ep 9 onwards was the problem. I couldn't even get through the first 10 minutes of it and dropped the drama. Might just check out the last episode.
Based on the comments I'll just wait it out. If it's not nice, hopefully I can find a yt video compilation of Min Jae's scenes at the end TT (There's Chung Ah too so guess I'll just come back once it's done airing)
They did make it quite obvious that Jung Jin Man is not dead. Bae Jung Min boasting about how it was so easy to kill him and the videos gave it away. We could see the video tape from Bae Jung Min's POV in which we don't get to know how he died and the video in the washroom from the CCTV also got cut. So, the ending wasn't surprising. At least for me, it was a matter of when he would come back. Heard about S2 and then it all made sense. Looking forward to see what they have in store for the next season!
Either the mole is in the family or they want us to believe that and will show it's someone else.
