Absolutely, and I think that's definitely a credit to the writers for writing such a well though-out character…
Very realistic and strong characters. If it continues this way till the end with character consistency, this drama would be a true delight. I'm already happy with the characters they've written, hope it continues!

True, and the same goes for her. She has her reasons (in the case of halmeoni) but then after he pointed it out, she realized she didn't need to be so harsh. So she proceeds to visit her. I love how both of them are written and their bickering is truly fun to watch. Dimple couple all the way <3
I love how when they have a conflict, they both eventually understand the other's point of view. First with the singer and coffee shop ajhusshi and then with the halmeoni. Really nice to see such a relationship in a kdrama.
I honestly want to watch a drama about married couples where there's no angst and drama. Wish there was some.…
Check out 'Marry Me' (Japan 2020) I'm watching it right now and it's actually pretty good. I too like arranged marriage tropes and would love some good recs!
1) Maybe he is involved and they decided put pressure on Cheol Jin to get rid of Dong Man and then they throw…
Seems plausible. Maybe they identify one member (pub owner or Baek Hee) and that makes the gambling site guys attack Sun Ho's family to get him to back off from the case. Even I don't think students are involved in the site case. But there sure seems to be many policemen (and a prosecutor maybe) involved in the case. That could mean even Dong Man's superior might be involved.
I am also confused at this point and I like it.I don't think that idiot Min Kyu has anything to do with the main…
Knowing kdramas even I think Judo prof is a potential romantic interest but it would be a great twist to make her the mastermind behind the gambling case haha
Oh you've good valid points there. Hmm Chul Jin failed a couple of times, and one of his intentions by framing…
Totally agreed! Prof Sang Hak could have also confirmed Chul Jin's fingerprints to get rid of him and to clear the Prof pub owner. One shot two birds! But if Chul Jin is out of the picture, Dong Man would definitely proceed with the investigation which the gambling team does not want. There seem to be many people involved including people from the police force as one of them transferred Dong Man to the uni as a prof so he could stop investigating the case. But I guess the real mastermind is in the Police University. Pub owner and Baek Hee seem to be a part of the gambling. Maybe even the prosecutor who fought Kang Hee's mom's case is on their side.
Just finished ep 8. And now I'm genuinely confused about the actual culprit. 1) I was thinking maybe it's Prof. Seo Sang Hak cause he was sweet and didn't talk much but after the analysis of the fingerprints, I kinda cleared him. He also helped out Sun Ho (not quite sure yet if he did it out of good intentions but) he seems to be in the clear. (He was also the one who took the students for the shooting practice and the culprit was also shooting when Chul Jin met him.) 2) Kwon Hyeok Pil was suspicious from early on so I didn't think he would be the actual culprit. Now that Dong Man and he have become friends, I think it'll be a good twist to reveal that he is actually the culprit. 3) Baek Hee was suspicious from the beginning but I feel she might not be the main culprit (if she is actually involved.) Maybe a helping hand or a partner. 4) Same goes with the nearby pub owner Prof. (Gyo Soo I think.) Feels like he really is involved but again not the main culprit or the mastermind behind this. 5) Choi Hee Soo. I suspected her for a second after she narrated her husband's story. It seemed like she did that to 'connect' with Dong Man because her story was almost similar to Dong Man's. But the next scenes instantly made me feel bad for suspecting her even for one second XD 6) Min Kyu is really sus. I don't know if he's a part of the gambling or just there for the love triangle but either way he can't be the boss behind the gambling site.
Oops, the list is too long haha! But we're only halfway through so I wonder how this will turn out. Not going to really question the logic in this drama but the mystery about the real don is quite fun!
Ep 6: I feel Chul Jin is faking his temporary amnesia. Maybe they threatened him by telling him they would harm Dong Man. That's why, not being able to tell his superior the truth, he decided to join the University as a professor so he could stay close to him and maybe protect him/prevent him from digging into the gambling case.
The "I didn't want you to be burdened by this" is so annoying because he really thought that breaking up with…
Basics of a relationship: trust, communication. And he failed her in both. Ending a 5-year relationship because he got scammed, threw away his relationship because he was facing difficulties?! What did he even think they were in a relationship for? It gets more and more ridiculous the more I think about it! Breaking up with the person you love because you didn't want them to see your vulnerable side? I wonder what the writer/s thought when writing this.
