All I'll say is what kind of Sovieshu (ref - The Remarried Empress webtoon) inspired plan was that? So, he thought it was better to break up with her than sharing his difficulties with her and then planned to GO BACK to her once he 'took care' of the issue?! I don't want her to end up with him as he clearly chose to abandon their relationship as soon as he faced difficulties. The second lead seems better but don't want her to choose him either because he seems more like a rebound rn. (Also I would want her to get to know him and choose him because she fell for/likes him and not because her bf left her.) I think it would be best for her to clearly break up with her ex and work on herself as she said "I never thought there would be nothing left of me just because you left." If the ending is cliche, this drama would really be a letdown.
Why's everyone talking about how she didn't choose anyone? Didn't she choose Lee Min Ho in the end? It's been a long time since I watched this but I remember who she chose lol.
I agree. The basis of a relationship is trust and COMMUNICATION. If this was a reason enough for him to breakup,…
Exactly. I do want her to find out his reason as it could provide some closure at least but I don't want that to become a plot device for them to get back together.
Frankly, I find her emotions more logical. Your bf who said he loved you yesterday suddenly says he wants to break up with you because (no answer). She was 'clingy' and kept going to his studio. He told her that was the thirteenth (or how many ever) times I'm telling you we broke up but he never actually told her what she wanted to hear/why she went to find him - a proper reason for their breakup/closure. She kept asking for a reason but he only tells her we've broken up. His reason for the breakup seems to be something along the lines of - that specs ajhusshi scammed me and took all my money (so I'm guessing he can no longer be a part of the band because the band was all a con in the first place). If this is his reason, then I really hope they don't get back together. I want him to have a good legit excuse for their breakup in case they end up together but then I feel like no matter what his reason is, the whole situation questions what he even thinks about her and her love. Side Note: Kwon Hwa Woon is so handsome hehe <3 Also, they were super cute when they were dating uwu but no. Wouldn't want them to get back together now.
I was thinking that Krystal's mom would somehow be linked sdjfnkashd
Ohh that's actually possible! That's a good theory but then she wouldn't be the main person involved cause we know that it's someone from the police uni. But her being involved would add to the drama lol
No better twist than Krystal turning out to be a part of the illegal gambling site XD But I know it's too far-fetched haha. I suspect Seo Sang Hak (Public Administration Professor) for some reason. Even Baek Hee (Guidance Department Director). Maybe Park Min Kyu might also be a part?!
I think im stupid. Like i don’t understand part when ji seo jun can travel to past too. Like why? And how? And…
To clear it up, Ha Rin from 2021 travelled back 10 years to 2011. The year on all the photos also says 2011. And Seo Jun dies in that year - 2011. Seo Jun from 2011 travels back many times to different dates. One they showed us was when he travelled back to 2009. He does this to prevent Oh Ha Rin from getting hurt. I hope my answer doesn't confuse you more!
After watching Ep 8THEORY TIMESeo Jun knows about the pictures being burned and going to the past because he did…
I was also thinking Ha Rin is the actual target because Seo Jun told her not to care about his life and stop coming back. He also knew how to time travel and kept doing it to save her from danger. But, in contradiction, Seo Jun seems to be the target when I think about the text message. Culprit put a (poisoned) drink for Seo Jun to drink. Then distracted Ha Rin with the fake teacher call. Sent a message from her phone asking him to enjoy the drink. Seo Jun thinks the drink is from Ha Rin because of the message and drinks it and dies. The culprit then stages it as suicide. That would explain how they were able to cut his wrist in a single go and how there were no 'hesitation marks' or 'resistance.' And how they got away with the murder cause no autopsy was done. The text message felt really off to me. One, she doesn't even remember sending it. Two, when could she have given him a drink if he was planning a surprise for her?
The real badass FLs are in WWW and Hyena, in my opinion. They might be a bit overboard but at least they are not…
Just like how kindness was associated with stupidity and naivety, now they're associating arrogance and rudeness to "badass" and a "strong personality." Thankfully we have some dramas that don't stick to this!
Thanks to the author of this article for starting the conversation here. I've felt this same way watching endless…
Will look forward to your article! Even though dramas portray traumas, I really dislike how they go with the "love cures all" and instant fixes to traumas just by falling in love.
You reminded me of 2 things that have always seemed debatable in this mostly well-intentioned trend of "strong…
It's sad how kindness is not really properly portrayed. We have either kind but naïve and stupid FLs or arrogant FLs to show their "strong personality." People can be kind without being pushovers and can be kind by still speaking up for themselves. The quality of kindness is frowned upon by viewers because many dramas have characters (mostly FLs) whose kindness is always associated with them being naïve, stupid and/or pushovers. The characters are mostly on extremes with kindness being tied to stupidity on one end and arrogance viewed as "badass" for a strong personality on the other end. Thankfully we are getting more dramas that rather portray a mix of these qualities in FLs.
Congrats on your first article! Many comments on various platforms called Jo Yi Seo and Ko Moon Young "savage" and "badass" and that we needed more FLs like that. Worse, that they wished to be like them. That really bothered me. We need more dramas with FLs who aren't arrogant to show that they're strong and badass. Also, I didn't bother with True Beauty as I already got title-baited with the webtoon xd The original Korean title was yeoshin gangrim (the goddess' secret) which I found out after already disappointing myself with the webtoon.

Can't believe anyone can be that shameless.
Meanwhile, Kazumasa is running a whole cheatception sigh.
Waiting eagerly for the revenge!
