Actually TJFH was the first drama I've seen of him and I loved everything about it, they don't make dramas like that anymore..
Saw him in Reflection of You also and damn he was serving acting masterclass in that as well, not to mention so hot too oh my God I was like if bad why so hot 😩

Really want to see him in a heavy role again but I think it's safe to say I'll be seated for whatever his next role/drama is, I just know he will nail it.

Finished this last week and wanted to post my thoughts in here but forgot lol. Anyways, I love it. It started off really strong, the first three episodes were CHEF'S KISS. They did so well in showing what Idols really go through. The middle might not be as strong but I actually enjoyed it as well but I must admit that while watching the ending of ep 11, the time jump got me worried like please don't make this another drama where the writers ruined the final episode and thank goodness it isn't the case for Idol I. The ending is perfect imo.

About the investigation part, I agree that it sucks but I'm letting it slide because the very moment I learned that this is a romance-centered drama I knew it would be best to not expect some very good investigation part so I wasn't really disappointed. Come to think of it even some thriller-centered detective dramas got some very questionable investigation parts too (*coughs* Queen Mantis I'm talking about you) so yeah that's it lol.

Good acting from everyone, except for the Chungjae guy idk I'm not feeling his acting at all it's so bland and felt off for me. Insane chemistry between the leads, honestly when I saw the cast list I wasn't too sure if Kim Jaeyoung and Choi Sooyoung's chemistry would be good but turned out the chemistry was chemistrying so hard and they looked so good together.

A solid 9/10 for me. Also let me say one or two last thing(s). Kim Jaeyoung's so amazing in this! His performances especially in the first three episodes were some of the best acting I've ever seen. Bro got me ugly crying in those 😭. One more actor added to my Must Watch Actor list I guess.

Tried watching but I guess I'm dropping it now. Literally nothing good about this drama OMG it's giving low budget 😭😭. Both the script and the acting are so bad.

Idol I was the only drama I've seen of the ML but even as a SML there his acting felt off and flat. Saw some comments while watching that drama saying they need him to finally get his ML role so before watching this I was wondering could he be that good was it just me who couldn't see him in a lead role. And after watching this I guess I still think the same. His acting was just as bad here even worse I think. Besides, imo he just doesn't have the charisma of a male lead.

Idk I don't really think that's the problem. There are actors around his height that are booked and busy. Yim Siwan for example, he's shorter than YSH but he's bagging lead roles left and right. I think it's more of an agent problem?

Dropping this because a lot of things threw me off especially the ML's acting (the detective one) like I don't know if it's just me but bro blinked every time he opened his mouth to speak I'm- 😭😭

But lowkey I still want to finish this, could anyone tell me will I miss much if I skip all of the scenes that have the ML on it?

With how I found the ML kind of, sorry, ugly (also he has this creepy look in his face in my opinion) and how I suffered having to see his terrible acting in this drama I didn't think I'd want to look at this profile at all but after reading your comment I had to and wth he's a r*pist?? Is this for real?

I really liked Kim Jae Young in The Judge from Hell he was so good in it and I wanted to see more of him but slice of life isn't really my thing but then I saw the romance tag so I decided to give it a try. Seeing no romance like at all until the very end felt like a scam. I mean the drama was pretty decent overall but like I was here for the romance and for KJY but ended up not getting both because even his screentime was so little 😭😭

And that ending?? Obviously they're hinting a Season 2 but I wonder if we'll ever get it since this season didn't do well, sadly. But if the S2 miraculously still happens I will be watching I simply just need to see more of Yeon Seok

SHS singlehandedly carried this show her acting was amazing. Can't say the same about the ML though his acting was so so bad I really had a hard time finishing this because of him like as if the already poor writing wasn't enough I had to see the terrible acting, dude needs some acting classes fr 😭

Only two episodes and I'm already so whipped for Yeonseok I like his character so much and he's so darn fine!! Oh can't wait to see him and Yeoreum finally meet

Will there be romance in this? Please I hope not because I'm not really comfortable with the age gap and idk the ML looks like he could be the FL's dad 😭😭 Also to be honest I'm not a big fan of his acting either saw him in Dear Hyeri and he was terrible in it

Was gonna add this to my watchlist but 120 what?? Maybe not I don't think I have the patience and time for that 😭
