the drama already made fun of bl content just being filled with fan service that doesn't do anything for character…
But i don't want fanservice? Why would i want that when it's already full of scenes of the leads gazing each other for minutes. I want the story to progress a little faster.
So the story is golden, the couples are great and their chemistry is off the charts, the leads are super handsome (and have perfect lips omg!) and I really want to see the rest of it and all but... They just drag the sh*t out of it. Like the 4th episode only consisted of the night Gene getting drunk and some of the morning after. Like... isn't it too much? We waited a week for 65 minutes of *you know that cute scene*. Sometimes they just sit in a car and talk about nothing important at all. All "you are so cute", "what are you talking about? do wanna die?", "ehehehe p' is so cute" and cue the weird looks thet give each other for minutes. Just start the damn car already!
Anyway it's good but wait until it's over and binge it.
Yes, it wouldn't be fair for Soyong to die and I like her too but this is not the way to solve the problem. King obviously fell for her personality (aka Bonghwan) and he also feels like he lost something. He knows he lost something. I refuse to believe he is in love with her face/looks/shell and is okay with her being a completely different human being. And what about Bonghwan? That guy has no way to reach for the person he loves now. This is not a happy ending for the main couple. Just a happy ending for the country and Joseon people, I guess.
They should have just made it like Soyong and Bonghwan are the same soul that got reincarnated. It was that easy. OR at least give us a 20 second ending that shows Bonghwan seeing a modern time Cheoljong from afar. I loved this drama and now I just feel sad.
And so sad Yu Yang is eliminated. He was one of the best singers there.
