Title Wife's Taste
Watching parts of this on Youtube. Cute, real-life couple Jin Hwa and Ham Sowon w/ 18 year age gap. I just wish I could find a complete playlist for it. (subtitles would be nice, too but I get the general gist of most of it)

Aw, this made me want to go watch Love O2O again :) They're so cute together. Hope they do another drama together some day.

You and me both. I'm at 14. Can't decide if this is sweet, or creepy. In real life? IT WOULD BE CREEPY AS HELL.…
They should just focus on Chu Yan and his LI for season 2 and make Xia Lin and Ling Yizhou background characters. Seen enough of them. If they did, I might watch season 2 if they do it. Otherwise I might skip it. I guess I never quite believed that An Ran would actually participate in killing Chu Yan. I figured he'd show up again so I was only momentarily disbelieving! Yes, I definitely just skip through boring parts, especially when a drama starts to drag on to the point of being stale. The ten second skip button is a lifesaver! :D

I went ahead and finished it but I was only half paying attention this afternoon while I was working on some other stuff. I'm sure I missed some stuff, but honestly I just don't care at this point. I definitely had some second lead syndrome, too!! Chu Yan's friendship with Xia Lin wound up being a real bright spot in this drama - they truly became friends before he really fell for her, which was refreshing. Their interactions were really fun :)

It's kind of a shame, because I liked the chemistry between Xia Lin and Ling Yizhou during the first half of the drama. If it didn't have that whole creepy stalker thing overshadowing their romance I would have really enjoyed it.

Zomg...just when I thought this couldn't get any worse, EP 14, the ML starts making noise about making a baby. Just....no. No, no no no N...O...NO!!! I mean, come on. I love me some cheesy rom-com, but what were these people thinking??????? Throwing that in there on the heels of them reconciling after the reveal about the fake illness is just jacking the creepy factor up to 1000.

Title Well-Intended Love Spoiler
I've started this drama thinking it'll be cute and sweet and once I hit episode 11..... part of me wants to continue…
You and me both. I'm at 14. Can't decide if this is sweet, or creepy. In real life? IT WOULD BE CREEPY AS HELL. AND ILLEGAL. AND I'D TELL ANYONE WHO WAS IN THIS SITUATION TO RUN THE HELL AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AND HELP THEM DO IT IF I COULD. Unfortunately the main lead is rather likable, if you overlook stalking, lying, fraud, holding someone against their will...etc. And in the beginning I thought I was safe from second lead syndrome, but Chu Yan has grown on me as his friendship with Xia Lin grows. But yeah...wasn't prepared for this train wreck when I started this!!

Title Bow Then Kiss Spoiler
I just didn't feel much of a connection between these characters. And kissing without the emotional buildup is just lip mashing. I remember starting to read this manga a couple of years ago. I don't remember why I dropped it. Maybe it was because the male lead gave off a creepy vibe in it, too. I like you! You torment me! I'll show you with the power of my lip mashing! Understand my feelings! Let's go all the way (thank god for handphonus interruptus)! Oh wait, you like me too? Girl, BYE!

I usually really enjoy Japanese shoujo manga adaptations, but this one just didn't cut it.

When you rate the second lead pairs interactions more than the first lead pair...
So. Much. This. Ya Nan and Guan Yan's chemistry was SO much better than Fang Yu and Ming Tian. Wish they had more screen time together, I loved watching them.

I'm finding Guo Fiction is the only one worthy to watch in this drama. I love his character and that wild hairstyle.…

On The Whirlwind Girl Season 2 May 7, 2019
Just finished binge-watching both seasons. I wasn't sure about season 2 at first. And overall, I think I prefer season 1, but season 2 is worth a watch. Yes, the dubbing for JCW is hard to get used to at first, but it's not as noticeable after the first few episodes. Honestly, as much as I like JCW, I didn't care that much for Chang An, not nearly as much as I did Ruo Bai, but he grew on me. But I at least enjoyed the way he grew to care for the kids at Songbai. I wound up fast forwarding a lot more in this season. Some of the "heart-fluttery" moments just wound up kind of awkward between the leads.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW:

For me, it's the secondary characters that make watching season 2 really worth it. Ting Yi goes through a lot, and while I kind of loved to hate her during the first half of season 2, her character does finally develop past her little-girl petulance. And all is not as it seems with Ting Hao, either.

I'll admit to having a case of 2nd lead syndrome in this season for Ting Hao. I felt for him more than I expected to - sometimes I wanted to knock him upside the head, other times his loneliness just made me sad. During the scene where Bai Cao comes upon him as he's sleeping after having traveled to Anyang from Singapore and back to find the evidence they needed to hang on to Songbai, it actually looked as if maybe, finally, he had managed to move her heart towards him just a bit, and I hoped maybe they would build on that.

Don't get me wrong...I don't agree with a lot of what he did in this season, particularly the stunt when he follows Bai Cao to Tokyo and then his 3-month agreement with her. But a lot of what he does after the accident he does in order to maintain a facade and deliberately cast himself in the role of the villain in order to protect the people he loves and the spirit of Yuan Wu Dao from the Evil Overlords. There at the end, it seems as if perhaps Guang Ya understands him better than anyone. I hope if they do season 3, she manages to turn his head.

Finally, I wish there had been more scenes with Xiao Ying and Yi Feng and their on again/off again flirtation. I LOVE THEM!! Too cute, both of them, and I thoroughly enjoyed the few scenes they did have together, especially the bit with the "panda eyes." They were adorable. :)

why does everyone hate the ending?
Probably because it's kind of another cliffhanger. No real resolution to the romance arc, and there is yet another major competition looming in the future. Hopefully they will come through with season 3. :)

Interesting because I would have sworn the love triangle trope was a lot more prevalent. It seems like most of the dramas I watch have one in some form or fashion. Maybe that just means I gravitate to them...

Title Strong Girl Bong Soon Spoiler
It's been like two years and I still chose Gook Doo over Min Hyuk.
Just out of curiosity, why? I loved Min Hyuk and the role-reversal angle with Bong Soon being the strong one with him being more of a flower boy. Actually, the path they took at the end with Gook Doo and his "I had her in my heart all along and I just didn't realize it" kind of bugged me. Dude seemed to have Bong Soon firmly in the friend zone at the beginning of the drama. I could buy that his feeling began to change, but swallowing the whole "when I said I liked delicate flower-type girls I was talking about you" just didn't seem to ring quite true to me. I guess I thought if he felt that way, he should have done something about it. I'm no stranger to second lead syndrome but I was glad this drama wasn't the case for me.

This was cute but... in all honesty I was kinda let down at the end of episode 8. I mean I know I shouldn't have expected much since it was a glorified commercial, but really, after all that buildup?????

I have a theory that there's the six guys, and then Lee Min Ho will show up for real lmao like actually in…
Kinda wondering that myself

Actually it's boring but idk why I can't stop watching it. Almost all of my fav actors are in there…
Because it's pretty. For something like this, you really don't need another reason.

Title 7 First Kisses Spoiler
LJK winning so far. Love PHJ, but ep 3 was kinda creepy...in the first place if I was the little girls mom and I saw this strange man with his hands on my daughter, I would probably go bugnuts. As for PHJ's character...eh. And of course JCW in ep 4 will be playing the spy who loved me trope...looking forward to it :)

My favorite in Pinocchio is actually the moment when LJS gently kisses PSH's fingertips after she has covered her mouth to prevent him from kissing her. That one made my heart flutter...and the kiss that followed it, too.
